Elizabeth sat on the ledge of one of the windows of the stone bridge, one leg dangled on the other side, the ground seeming hundrerds of feet below it.
She leaned her head back against the pillar behind her and she allowed the tears to fall down her face. She did not bother to wipe them away. More tears came and still she remained there silently crying for her parents. She missed them so much
"Can you hear me?" she whispered into the wind
She ran her hand around the rough stone wall untill her knuckles bled, she brought one hand to her head and leane dher head against it, tears mingling into it.
She closed her eyes and tried to lose herself in memories of her past, her parents and her life. She loved her Aunt, but they did not share that rare bond, that rarely existed outside of a child and their parents
