Basic Rules

-Respect your fellow members. I don't want to see or hear any forms of racism, sexism, or anything extremely offensive towards other members. It's uncalled for and quite frankly, i hate it and won't stand for it. If you have a problem with the member, please do not bring it onto the board.

-If you get into an argument with another member please take it to PM, E-Mail, or AIM, Yahoo, MSN, etc. I don't want to see abuse in the cbox or in posts were guests can wander in and see. It's not exactly nice for them to see, and it really brings the board down. And if i see it, warning WILL be given out. If it gets out of hand come tell me and i'll sort it.

-NO CHAT SPEAK!!!!!!!!. You may ONLY use it in the CBox and the games area. If you wish to tell a member something in a post put this [[OOC: write here ]]

-Please use spellcheck, its quite helpful. I know that different countries have different spellings, so i shall respect that. And believe me, yours truely has had some trouble with spelling. I shall ignore over complex words, as long as people can make sense of it, then it's fine. But small words such as happy etc is annoying. So please SPELLCHECK

-ONE character per account. You can have up to 3 accounts. If you want more please PM me and i'll think about it. But you must remain active with each account.

-Your display name must be the first and last name of your character. NO unnecissary names like no.01rules. So after you've signed up for a character please change it. It's not hard to do. All you have to do is click profile then modify profile. And please use CAPITALS

In Character

-All posts must be at least three decent sized paragraphs. That is really not much to ask of you. I'd really prefer if you try. It's not too hard to do. Just over explain things. I will be putting up a help thread to show you how you can manage it. I know it can be hard, even i struggle with it. But please try

-You may not kill another character without the player's permission.

-When applying for a character make sure you include this 8-) This is so i know you've read the rules. If it isn't in there, i won't accept your character untill it is.

-NO GODMODING/POWERPLAYING.
I will give examples if you do not know what it is.
BAD - Bob threw a stone at Ed, it hit him in the eye and he fell to the ground.No! Not good! You CANNOT control other characters. That is the reason they have a player. It should've been like this.
GOOD - Bob threw a stone at Ed, hoping to hit him in the eye and possibly cause him to fall to the ground.

-CANONS:
Canons MUST be active. Full stop. I don't want to see a canon character only coming on once every three months and thinking thats enough. It's not. It's unfair to the people you are rp'n with. And unfair to those who wanted to be the character but couldn't. I also expect those who play Canons to be decent rp's. That means their posts have to have more in them, it might sound harsh, but I don't want to see Canons posting one liners. I know not much is known about the Marauders era so it might be hard. But it can also be easy because you have no boundries. You can be creative

-Please give your character's flaws. EVERYONE has them

-Remember to always stick to the time period you are in. That means no PS3's, no Wii's, they weren't around, and they weren't even thought of. Also, film wise, if you want to go see a film with your character. Try to keep in with the time era, if that means making up a film. Go ahead. Things like Finding Nemo and Arthur and the Invisibles weren't around, they didn't have the technology to make them. Please keep that in mind. password2: Rupert Grint

-Romantic relationships are allowed, yes. Sex, yes but please make sure that if your thread contains sexual content (some people find this disgusting and/or inappropriate, please respect that) please label the thread with an [R].

-Violence is allowed as well. Again, if it becomes graphic please label it with an [R]

Housing

-Manors, cottages, and small flats are availiable. Please keep it realistic. If your character cannot afford a manor, do not request one. If your character has a wealthy family then yes, you may have a manor.

-Make sure you request them in the proper board. And remember to code them
