Opening this thread just to say it looks like that this Mon-9 drama is gonna be the shortest one in the premium time slot's history - I was 1st surprised today by Keiko's blogging in her current latest entry that it's gonna wrap up, but then had quickly forgotten it, until I read about it on the local newspapers, which say that it's cut short (the headings even say it's axed) due to poor ratings (the ratings for the 1st episode is decent, tho) - even the megastars in it can't help. :(

Maybe traditional TV is really dying fast at this time. *sigh*

when i first checked about this drama about two months, it was said to have 7 episodes. i think the newspapers are just trying to make up some stories as usual.

i have to say this drama is really hard to watch, especially since I love Shinohara Ryoko so so much. She deserves to be in a better drama.

As for Keiko, it's a different character, she has much to learn, but i'm sure it won't hurt her by being in another Getsu-9 drama.

If so, I guess the papers were reporting partial truths, as usual, then - everything else is true except that it's cut short or even "axed" because they don't wanna see the average rating being dragged down in this strong-cast drama. That news was even highlighted at the top of the frontpage (but reported on an inside page). lol

She's a drama queen. B)

I'm watching this drama at the moment and i'm shocked at how little screen time Keiko gets.
Although she does her best in the amount of screen time she gets. I always look forward to her scenes, wish there was more.

Sadly though the drama doesn't seem that great to me, which is quite a shock considering its has Kimura Takuya and all these other great actors and actresses, guess i was expecting too much.

Because she's a less important one among the main cast. ;)

That can also explain its so-so ratings.
