Magazines from Keiko's "Room"

This is a more detailed (and translated) list of the magazines shown on the News page in Keiko's Stardust "Room." This list will give you the information you need if you want to search for the magazines in which Keiko says she will appear.

I currently don't know of a place where magazines can be ordered online without insane shipping costs. However, anything on this list with an ISBN10/13 can be ordered as a book from Fujisan. You can still use the Fujisan.com guide to figure out how to buy stuff from them.

Keiko had a weekly written section in "The Television." It began in the June 1st Issue which was published 2007 MAY 25 and you can probably calculate the dates for the rest of the issues by adding 7 days for each issue after the first one. However, you probably won't be able to find it anywhere, now.

Note: I doubt that I will have time to re-work this list or even update it for a long time. I'm sorry about that, but I'm just that busy now.

The list will be formatted like this:

Dates are written as yyyy.MM.dd (2008.06.22). Some lines will be doubled and will have Japanese on the first line with the romanization/translation on the second line.

"i" and "j" are placeholders for ISBNs and JANs, respectively. Usually, an article will have either an ISBN pair or a JAN, not both. An ISBN-10 from Japan will start with 49 or 45 and will be 10 digits long. An ISBN-13 from Japan will start with 97849 or 97845 and will be 13 digits long. A JAN typically starts with 49 or 45 and is also 13 digits long.

It seems that Fujisan does not accept magazine special orders any longer. They stopped on July 25th. I wish they would have e-mailed me about it, but there would be nothing I could do, anyway.

I'll continue to update information, but I can't tell you where to get these magazines anymore.

Thx for the scans. :) While she also appears in the inner pages, the whole thing seems to be quite Oda-centric. That's only too natural, tho.

There're many ways to categorize mags, & local/non-local edition is just 1 of them. :)

Haven't found any clue showing that the 1st mag is a local edition, but the 2nd 1 isn't necessarily a local edition despite its title - it's just a travel guide mag that you can also find in other parts of the country & even overseas. ;) (There're Chinese editions of those XXXWalker mags, tho, & even ones covering Chinese cities / tourist spots. lol)

Travel guide.....Sounds interesting....and they use Keiko as the cover star. :rolleyes:

When I used to be able to order magazines from Fujisan, I sometimes had a hard time getting the magazines I wanted because they would get confused with how I wrote the dates. Because of this, I started writing each part of the date in a unique way: 2008 MAY 19. I still do this for a lot of things, but not for my magazine lists because I have to write so much information.

When I transferred my list to this thread, I had to make many changes so those using this thread to order magazines from Fujisan wouldn't have the same trouble. Now that Fujisan has stopped taking magazine special orders, I've decided to just transfer my raw list here. I won't have to type anything extra, and everyone will have all the information that I have, in case they want to search around to buy one of these magazines.

I plan to complete the format change in a few days or so, but things never seem to go as I plan, so it may take months.

Another nitpick about Fujisan is that if I were to send them the info for the magazine above, they would tell me that they can't find the magazine because the magazine code is more than 5 digits. The problem is that their distributor sucks and uses one 5 digit number for the same magazine month after month (even if the base number is different for the 1st and 2nd issue in a month for magazines like Seventeen), so they have to go and actually search through the magazines they have under a certain number to find out if they have the one you want.

I don't really know what the problem was, but they seemed to have all sorts of trouble with my orders, and maybe that's why they stopped handling magazine special orders.
