I would probably pay to see an hour or so of just her practicing sword fighting. Better yet, an in-depth movie about her sword fight practice progression.

My translation of the completion press conference has a cast list.

Complete with her crying when the teacher scolds her. :) (She said at the conference that despite that she liked the sword fighting practise the best.) A video of it would indeed be glorious. I'm sure we get some of it with the extras on the DVD, but probably not even five minutes worth. :(

I've thought about that when I opened this thread, but considering Ryuu's Japanese thread titles on his blog translation subforum, I thought it'd be neat to follow that "tradition" of this forum here, plus I've also added a subtitle in English, so I think that's fine. :) That being said, I'm still gonna add the movie's romaji name to the aforementioned subtitle after considering your suggestion ;) (I'm not sure about the movie's official English name - whether there's one &, if so, what it is).

I've checked & found that "After the Flowers" is actually the official English name of the movie. I've also looked at the thread titling convention of the other threads on this subforum & found that my previous thread title didn't match w/ it (I didn't check that when I opened this thread ^^; ). Hence, the present title edited by Izzy (thx!) is the standard one. I've also removed the Japanese subtitle put there by Izzy since it didn't match w/ the aforementioned convention. :)

^ Agreed - she's a swordswoman in the movie. B) Also reminding me of that PGSM episode in which she engaged in a "sword fight" w/ the other Senshi girls. lol

I'd be happy if some japanese director,producer & film company would notice that it'll be a major hit if both azumi and ito were on the same samurai/ninja/epic film :D...oh I forgot ayase haruka's Ichi (maybe she could join too :D )

This is really exciting, i can't wait to see her new movie.... Another new role for her...
