Dear Readers,

Has anyone seen the Japanese/SubTitled Version of this movie? It is AWESOME, and to be honest it was sooo awesome it is the FIRST DVD I have ever purchased, haven't had the chance to watch it yet due to busy schedule but I just thought I would share that and hear what you girls and guys thought about it.

I've seen it of course... its an obligation to...lol, now buying the DVD I gotta get the money... let me know how all the features are dude... inform the masses so we can gather up our monies and purchase...lol

Hahah it is freaking awesome, funny part is there 8 different languages to choose from for SubTitles, then of course if you are just a Listener of English, great for the movie. As for the special features downfall is that it is all in Japanese and you will need subtitles for them, and hehe sadly... the delete scenes were in the Japanese leak on the internet so if you have seen that, you arne't missing anything in the US Release.

And the funny scenes are still funny ^_^

Worth the money, I got mine for $17 online/amazon.

Get them before the price jumps to the usual $29.99.

Hmm... I don't know if I've seen these deleted scenes you speak of... so maybe I am missing something... *wonders*

If you have seent he Japanese Version you didn't miss anything put it that way... Since the deleted scenes were used in the Japanese Version and in the US Version they only took it out because they really were unecessary. I won't give any for examples as spoilers so yeah.

Dude I've wanted that phone for ages... its got the side camera 2 megapixel camera, motion capture, miniSD memory, emoticon phone talk, Final Fantasy 1 as a game!, and looks awesome!... too bad those phones don't work out of japanese service...lol

Hahah man... I don't even know if that phone sold much out here... Since in this time all you see are the Razors and Slvr's.

But yeah they should NOW have Promotional Sales of that Phone here since the movie just got released =P

The phone wasn't released here at all... the closest thing is a samsung phone... but its a weak immitation....I still want it... darn japanese people... give me a FOMA! lol

Nonetheless they make all the crazy stuff and we get it slightly later than them since this movie was released a long while back online which was in Japanese and barely released here.

Sorta ya... I thought that part was pretty cool... I was trying to decide a name for it too, since its not like Omni slash its pretty unique... but with that Magi connection maybe I will call it Phantom Omni...lol

The movie was great!! The graphics are just awesome... although a little overwhelming at times it was fantastic. Cloud... man he is HEE-OT!~

Hehe it is funny to know that this is on the edge of a Live-Action movie BUT they wanted to stick to the 'fantasy' part of FF so they made it CGI therefore ther eare moments for me that are overwhelming in just how realistic it is yet at the same time just how fantasylike it is due to how unreal it is lol.

Hmmm is it weird that I don't feel like that?... I just watched it and was like... thats cool thats cool thats cool... maybe I guess my overactive imagination makes the unreal moments seem not so surprising...lol

You don't find it surprising how they can Jump that high, stay in midair that long? Lol I find that surprising whether it is CGI or Real Life(Matrix) haha.

Either way yes i was like cool cool cool.

And does no one find the irony between the swords? Cloud = long and HUGE, Sephiroth = EXTREMELY long and 'thin'. I love that.

I read a snafu-comic that made fun of that...possibly a VGcats too...lol, infact a lot of people make fun of it...lol

I think whats kinda cool is that in Kingdom Hearts 2, they use adaptations of their AC forms, including clouds new sword bound in bandages (like his buster sword was in KH 1), its pretty cool.

Oh hehe not much of a KH fan unlike majority of the world =X.

But none the less the 'one-winged' angel that Sephirtoth has... Why is it he only has one?

Well I like KH cause its fun... I could car less if it had the FF characters or Disney characters... the system is pretty fun and the story has some kick to it...

well one winged angel is sorta a shortcut, its not that he only has one wing, its that he only shows off his one major wing a lot... if you look at sephiroth in his most show offy form he has several wings... infact 1 less than the number of wings necessary to be a seraphim, which is the highest rank of angel... or was it more more than that... its something like that :-P I'm a little rusty on my FF7 related trivia

I don't know in what way... it was a bit much in some of the action scenes. I was like wtf?! at some bits because it got a little crazy, lol. But no worries, overall it was plentiful coolness. :D

Ahh so its like SC said about how its amazing and everything the abilities the people in it express?....

and I realize I didn't say something about SC other post...lol, no I'm not surprised by the high jumping too much... I mean maybe in matrix at first I was like... whoa thats cool...but I mean I guess I'm use to it? knowing its not possible in reality but seeing it in movies is still cool but not as surprising

Hahah you are too unique to not notice well be surprised by it, sorry I try ot live everythign through reality so anything out of the norm would shock me.

Well if I saw someone do it in real life I guess I'd be more shocked... but soon after it would turn into wanting to know how they did it...and like... "do it again"...cause ti would be awesome

Hahha side trackign a little but a slight relevance.. pretty much like magic... if it amazes you you want to kno whow it is done and if they don't let you know you just want to see it over again.

So yeah if I saw anyone in real life do it I would try to mock them but still juts be amazed.

Well I dunno, I would have to say what I find interesting is they expect FF7 to be so canon to everyone that they pull off the entire story without reintroducing many of the characters... especially when two of the characters were optional in FF7 itself...lol

Hahah sorry in what connotation are you using 'canon' as never heard of it in that form...

ANyway... They didn't need to reintroduce the characters because they were all made famous, even with the optional characters.

Eitehr way, this movie was made for the purpose of just continuing the FFVII aftermath so if epople who never played it watched it they can still be amazed just that they might not know each caharacter fully.

Well you can say that... but its the fact that its been out for so long makes it a little choppy in that respect... I mean to assume that you got the optional characters so you don't have to reintroduce them... that you have that kind of fame... its a bit presumptious... not that its a bad thing for people like us who know whats going on but I wouldn't want them to alienate potential joiners with that idea...

in other words, its not a movie you can share with newbies in hopes of getting them to play cause they'll just be confused... and thats kinda a downer

haha yeah I see what you mean there, but ehhh I sersiouly wonder how many people in the world still play the game on PS... I know I have the PC version and I played it like last year and was like wow comparing graphics of that to what we have today... And yet it was the FIRST 3D Final Fantasy so it made that game like OMG!!!!!!1

....hmm I guess... I personally don't like that representative statement about FF7 being the breaker for the series... I mean I realize it made it real mainstream, but FF6 gets a lot of cred for how much it had in it... it was pretty amazing in its own right... and from time to time I do play FF7 and FF8 again...cause they are fun... :-P... and off topic once again why didn't people like 8? I thought it was alright.

Well think of it this way.. Mainstream becuase it was the first 3d, FF 6 wasn't as credited due to the fact it wasn't 3d although it did have a lot of stuff in it.


After Final Fantasy VII none of the other FF's (8/9) recieved as much credit until X becuase it hit PS2... 9 I completely hated, and 8 sure was alright becuase Rinoa/Quistis were hotties not to mention LuLu, but the thing that seperated it from FFVII are teh Cards... and I liked that but I am not really sure what the downfall of the game was compared to VII, I guess the reality of it just being FFVII was the First in 3d made it what it is...

If it was cause of the graphics though FF8 woulda gotten more credit, it was higher level and was one of the first games to do the simultaneous FMV/in screen run situations... I think people are just really weird like that... its like the thing that separates the casual gamer from the obsessive gamer... cause FF7 was good but it indeed had its flaws... and it seems like people put it on a pedestal somewhat overzealously. Yes I did enjoy it, and its on a high rank but at the same time it had many advantages to its time... again though that just may be my presumption. And I know lots of people didn't like 8 and 9 but I did enjoy them for different reasons... but this is way off topic so back to topic

I am a bit curious the FFVII thing they offer as a recap to the game... is that the last order anime?... also the preview I'm guessing is for dirge of cerberus yes?

Hrehe yes it is and those games in the extras are like woah they look more like Anime's more than video games... And the one of Vincent... I forget maybe it was the Dirge of Cerberus... Reminds me a little of Time Crisis...

Also... FFVII had those you move during the FMV just that it didn't have many, and if you ask me where they used it, I forget but I KNOW they did.

None the less FFVII:AC did well and just to imagine, with our technology games can be THAT realistic...

And yet less or equal realism to the american FF american movie... as the hair crop on those people were probably more smartly managed (as in they didn't try to make a realistic hair crop when it wasn't needed)...

...so it was last order... and Dirge of Cerberus... thanx dude good to know...lol... ya thats dirge of cerberus or is it spelled derge?... well anyways, its the vincient action shooting type game... featuring both him and yuffie (as a side character that is)... looks like they wanted to make them more actiony than the rest of the crew...lol

LOL or better yet, since they were optional characters/Secret I might add, their fame wasn't as great as Cloud's/rest so they have their own game to get a slight run up of fame =P

Spelling wise I am not sure too lazy to recheck.

Well Vincent is one of the most popular characters too I guess... so the most popular optional and the cliche dark mysterious kickbutt guy...so it makes sense... he's probably the 3rd most popular guy character in the game...possibly the 2nd if people hate cloud cause he's kinda stupid...lol

Hhaha I wonder by run down how the 'ranking' of each character would be as I know Tifa would be pretty popular due to well assets...

I mean I liked Vincent because of the cape mainly that is awesome hhaa.
