Sigh...I feel so sorry for her. So many unfortunate things happened to her when she was young. I heard some rumours of her being a smoker and a slut. Personally I don't believe it, because I'm a big fan of her now. xD Even if she did do all those bad things in the past, it's quite excusable. Well I'm glad the nightmare is over for her and she's living a pretty successful life. ^^ Ahhh I'm such a big fan of her now, and it's all because of 1 Rittoru no Namida. xDDD

Yup, the same age.. and almost like Keiko's sister. I liked her in Shinobi, but I think Keiko would have played the part better... especially when it was time to kick ass!

She kinda seems like a cross between Keiko, Chieco, and Ayaka, IMO. Really, it's a great balance. If I wasn't so worked up over Keiko and the uber-kawaii Kudo(u) Haruka, I'd probably be a big fan of hers.

5 Hours... well, I downloaded the 1st few eps from d-addicts (bittorrent) before I turned to the dramarific link. Downloading from the latter took only about 10-15 minutes an ep.

There are like so many pages of Erika Sawajiri on YouTube. Like 6 pages of her videos, around 1 page of repeats. I'm currently mad downloading all these Erika Sawajiri YouTube videos, then changing them to WMA with SUPER (Thanks to SacredCultivator ^^)!! Reminds me of how I searched the internet dry for her pictures. LOL, talk about fanboy eh?

Erika looks the best in 1LOT, I think is because of her hair being combed to the right, leaving her not too long not too short hair black. At least for me, that's how I like it. ^^

I also heard of sth about her. Once theres a "actor/actress" online election from the Japanese. Surprisingly Erika came first on the "most HATED" actor/actress in it. Due to her countless rumours n earlier theres a photo on her taking alcohol when shes like 15... in Japan any youngster who smoke or drunk is a very big trouble, which can end her career in short. Poor Erika... anyway, I still give her full support as shes a good actress. :)

The japanese people have such high standards since they try to mass produce their cuties.... no smoking and drinking before the age or else you can get suspended or worse blacklisted... if you for some reason end up in legal trouble you can get blacklisted... its kinda sad... Yeah I too saw the stats that Ep 11 got the highest rating. The part where Ako stands up for Aya was pretty touching. I also liked the part where Aya tells Haruto "not to come in because..." (Don't want to ruin it for you). Oh the "Love Letter" part was pretty good too. Sigh...everything was good. Her acting is so good!! Whenever she or the family starts crying, I feel like crying too. ==

To be honest, I don't really care whether she's a model or not. Being a model = more pictures. You'll know how I feel when I try to find pictures or like video clips of Hayami Kishimoto. She's like so unpopular there's like so few pictures you can find on the internet. However, if it's Erika then that's a another case. Erika's acting and modelling helps very much. I do agree with the "ruining the image", but everyone has to start somewhere inorder to get noticed. If it weren't for her modelling she'd probably be in studying in school.

Yep, that Ako standing up for Aya bit is the most touching scene I've probably watched of a series EVER... I can't really describe the feeling it gave me. And yah, when after the talk betwen Ako and Hiro Aya just breaks down... you feel her devastation so much. It would've been better if they hugged or something! (especially when Aya is in - school and Ako makes it - and they enter her room lol... don't wanna spoil it for anybody too)

sadly rumours can be quite effective to ruin the image of an idol/actress. I think due to a number of similar dramas in the past to make the japanese lost interest in the new one. 1LOT should be rated higher than that I suppose. :( The "older" dramas really have lots of advantages from this. ^^;

Its a drama lisa, I have episode one and two... its interesting but I'm not sure if i'm ready to watch another sad drama after 1LoTs...lol, but eh so far it seems interesting.

Actually, the part that freaked me out the most about Taiyo no Uta, was the fact that she looked SO much like Chieco Kawabe in it. Her long hair REALLY made her look like Chieco. O____O You should watch the first episode just to see that. They're almost twins....
