 Mating; No Birthing; yes
With the last of the snow melting away, the temperatures are beginning to climb to more comfortable ranges. Blossoming flowers are starting to sprout and trees are growing their leaves, the earth is awaking from a long winter. The weather can range from place to place. In the warmer territories, such as the Wastelands and Syrtis Ischyros, the sun is blazing and the heat of summer is fast approaching. The Loners' Domain has the prefect climate this time of year; not too hot and not too cold. The Mrtvi Vukovi Lands are still very cold, and the snow will not diminish until the midst of spring.

17th March, 2008 - Fwee, the site is ready for roleplay! =3 I'll probably be adding a few more things from the old site which would do you good to check up on, but otherwise you just needtah fill in your aplication for your old characters and re-begin the rp. I'll be starting a few competitions soon, too, and I'll probably start to give out fantasy wolves in a week or so, too. [=

Borders The borders that mark the great lands of the Mrtavi Vokovi pack is a strong river. It is incredibly deep and the current is the strongest around. There are rapids in the center of the river, but thankfully, they aren't too bad. The river is always creating a lot of noise, because of the rocks littered in the center and on the banks. On the side where the lands begin, there are many trees. This is the beginning of the forest that covered most of the area. On the other side, though, it it mostly brush and long grass. Above the rapids, there is an old wooden bridge. The boards on the bridge are rotten, but it is the safety way to get across. If you happen to fall in, then you are surely doomed to go through the rapids. The bridge and the rocks on the river bank are very mossy and slippery, so loners usually don't take a chance on going across.

Lilith Mountains The mountains here are a deadly thing. They are huge, the smallest mountain in the chain being two thousand meters high and the biggest over seven thousand meters. They are jagged pieces of rock, sticking out of the ground. The tops are usually covered by thick clouds and are always covered in a heavy layer of snow. Some of the mountains are wrongly named, because about three of them are massive volcanoes. They are currently dormant, but they where active about one hundred years ago. Large streams of rock hard lava flows down the sides of these volcanoes, but most of it is buried in the snow. These are terribly hard to climb, for they are covered in deep ravines and many other dangers. Let alone the high altitudes and jagged peeks and the snow. This mighty mountain chain dwarfs Bixco Mountain, in the Valr Territory. The Lilith Mountain chain is named after the alpha; Magpie Lilith.

Tane Forests The forests that cover over two thirds of the land are dense and dark. The forest is ancient, over five hundred years old. Some of the trees can be over one hundred meters tall and a circumference of about a meter or two. The thick roots provide good shelter, too. Because of the density of the forests not much light can reach the soil, so there isn’t much thicket or grass. This lack of light makes the soil dusty and soft, which can easily be dug up. The trees themselves can be birch or pine, but the most common are the redwood, maple and oak trees. There aren’t many rocks here, but small amounts of hardened lava can be found near the mountains. There are several fallen trees, good for jumping and playing on. The forest is very eerie, because of the soft mist that is found here in the early mornings. It is also said to be haunted by many ghosts, most human men that died during a battle long ago.

Salifur Hot Springs The hot springs are, well, hot. They are in the foot hills below the mighty mountains. They get their heat from the lava that is settled deep inside the mountains and volcanoes, but they are always the prefect temperatures. Mist and steam is not an unusual thing here, but it adds to the mystery that the springs give off. The springs are also said to be a very spiritual place, where one can cleanse the soul and body. On the edges of the springs there are large rocks, that can also get rather hot. The area is found in a flat valley in the center of the foot hills, and it is very relaxing. It is also quite romantic. No grass grows here because the ground can get to be rather warm. There are several large, but dead, trees in the area that provide little shade. These trees are usually about the size of any given tree in the forest, but their branches are bare.

Foothills The foothills are a lovely place. They separate the mountains from the forest, and nestled somewhere in the center of the hills are the hot springs. The hills can be quite big and steep, and the closer you are to the mountains the bigger the hills. The foothills are covered in short prairie grass and a large amount of beautiful red poppies. Prey is easily found here, but, because of the many rolling hills, it can be a challenge to actually make a kill. There are no trees on the hills, but there is a large treeline when the forest begins. There are also several mountain streams that are located between the hills, filled with the best freshwater you will ever find.

Densite Located in a small clearing in the northern part of the great forest, is the densite. It is a very unique place, and it is said to be haunted by the soldiers that died here long ago. Many of the skeletons are still visible and most of the bones have been sucked of all their delicious marrow. The area is a steep rock, like a hill. There are tiny caves here, but most of them can only be explored by pups. The densite itself is extraordinary. It is a large, two story watch tower, long ago abandoned. The entrance is facing the south, and inside is a floor construction of solid rock. This has been covered in dry grass, to make the area more comfortable. On the north wall, there is a set of circular stairs. This does not have a guardrail, and it is easy for pup to fall. The stairs lead to the second floor, another dark room. It had several small windows, but they allow little light inside. There is one large window, but a full grown wolf cannot get through it. There are many cobwebs inside, and the humans that called this home long ago have left deer skin rugs behind. There is a large table in the center of this floor, and this is usually where the alpha would slumber. And on the north wall, there is a strong wooden latter that leads to the large lookout area. From here, you can see a large amount of the territory. The densite can survive and shelter the wolves from the elements, and it is quite warm inside. The lookout is quite large inside and out; it can fit over 50 wolves inside.

Xanth's Den This part of the forest is incredibly eerie. Many wolves come here to die, or commit sucide. This small area of the forest is very grey, literately. The soil is an odd shade of grey, coloured from the volcanic ash that rained down whenever the huge mountains where active. The trees are, instead of brown, another dark shade of grey. The leaves are still green, though. The trees that dominate this area are the oldest in the whole forest, most of them being over 80 years old. The most common spieces is pine, and in this place, it is very dense. There is no grass or bracken, and there usually isn't much prey here. There is uaually a thick fog or mist that covered the area, which is located near the northern most part of the territory. In the center of the area, there is a huge tree that is over 150 years old. It's mighty root litter the ground surrounding it, and someone or something has dug the roots out so they could get in.

Ebony Sands The beach here is rather depressing. The sand is coloured a dark grey, almost black. This is because of the massive volcanoes, and the ash that they admit when active. The beach is covered in several jagged rocks and there is a large hill of rock covered in grass below the mountains. The ocean can get very violent at times, with massive waves reaching heights of about 20 feet. The sandy beach is quite big and it supplies a gorgeous view.
