<Sound of wind and rain coming from Yuan's words, and silence from Kratos'.>
(We can assume from this that Yuan is outside and Kratos is not. Some kind of communicating device. I doubt he's in Derris-Kharlan, though.)
Yuan : The wind is getting stronger. A storm is coming. Do you feel it, Kratos?
Kratos : Yes, I feel it, Yuan.
Yuan : Would you say it is blue and beautiful?
Kratos : Yes.
Yuan : I cannot think like that.
Kratos : Is that so?
Yuan : It is true that there is blue and beautiful things on this planet, but things that are black and hard to see outnumber them.
Hate, pride, anger, foolishness, frivolous desires... They taint the sky, the wind, the earth, everything. These vices are the nature of human beings.

<Yuan turns to leave, his cape flapping behind him as his footsteps are heard.>

<Back to the present; joyful music.>
