Read It?

Has anyone read the ToS manga yet? I finished it a little while ago; it's really different from the game.

The art is great, though, and it was executed very well. I love the extra chapters.

The art is GORGEOUS. I think that the producers did a wonderful job of choosing the artist. And luckily for that person, it was their debut, and they were ecstatic to do their favorite game~. Regardless, I'd say it's a must-read. Ahh, some parts are just so tragic to see reenacted in a different way. Godda*nit Kratos why'd you leave?!

I'd say it's a little rushed, and has some very different parts from the game as you've said, but. It's great. xD <3 The extra load... my god. It's so hard for me to tolerate the 'Father' chapter. I cried the first time I read it. ;_; I'm glad they took a look a bit into the deeper stories.

XD Indeed, though the art for all the Tales manga I've read so far have been good. I agree with it being rushed. There were loads of parts I would've liked to see. My favorite extra was probably the whole deal with Zelos and his sister. They don't really mess with it much in the game (unless I missed that part?), and it bugged me after I finished the game.

Aw see, I never watched Zelos' Flanoir scene all the way through so I'm missing out. D: I should do that this gameplay, learn more about him.

XD I saved before all the important cutscenes so I could get the different results. I don't remember them all, but I know I got them.

I did that on a few occasions. 'Cept I was never on Zelos' good side. >3<;

LOL I played through twice just to see what it was like getting Zelos or beating the crud out of him. XD

The first time I was told what to do to get Kratos so I did, but in my later gameplays I did the same thing, saving, going and talking to someone other than Kratos in Flanoir, have Zelos go off with Pronyma. And then I did the actual thing when I talked to Kratos, go and kill Zelos, and be happy. :>
I'm actually not that bitter about Zelos I just seem like it because it's always 'Zelos or Kratos?'. So I get defensive over Kratos. >3<

It's very good. :3 But it's similar to the anime in the sense that it lacks details you could find in-game.
