Next rule, is members, do not give your password out to anyone! If you do and they mess up your account, then sorry we won't be sorry for you..since we clearly told you not to give it out. You may think some people are your friends, but you never know when the day will come that you will have disagreements between each other.

--Rules for Signatures/Avatars--
Themaximum size your signature can be is:
500 pixels width by 250 pixels height

You may have signatures smaller than that. I would suggest using the sizes for signatures listed below:
400 pixels width by 250 pixels height (400x250)
500 pixels width by 200 pixels height (500x200)

I'm not very harsh on signature rules if they're just a little oversized, but if they are huge and very oversized..then you better expect it to be removed. Remember, just because I'm not harsh...doesn't mean that I will let everything slip by.

You can have a maximum of 2 images in your signature BUT it can not be the same size as your regular signature. SO the maximum size for the second image is 500x200. If it's anymore than 500pixels wide, and more than 200pixels height. It's going against the rules, and it will be removed. If you are unsure about adding an second image, whether it's the right size or not. PM me (Lindsey) with it, and I will let you know.

ALL AVATARS MUST BE
100 pixels width by 100 pixels height (100x100)
If they are not that size or smaller, then they will not be accepted as the board is set to only allow sizes 100x100 or below. If it's over the size of 100x100 the board will automatically resize it down.

Posting Rules:

If you purposely joined to cause spam, bash, disrespect the musician, forum or members, then your going to be banned. We will not tolerate spamming or bashing of any form. It's uncalled for and uneccessary.

If you copy material off of someone else's site, and then paste it into a post here, please make sure that you credit the site that you took it from. Meaning place a link somewhere on the post back to the site where you found the information. If you don't do this, it might be considered stealing.

Do not post any site promoting links.

Do not post other site or forum links, unless you are giving credit as a source for news or images you posted.

If you wish to post an image and it's excessively large, please just post a link to it instead of posting the large image, it will take ages to load and mess up the board width.

When your posting polls, please make sure that they have point, if you post unecessary or odd polls they're either just going to get locked or deleted. Same goes with posting topics. Stick to reasonable postings and polls and try to stay away from off topic non-sense or useless things. To many of these and it may be considered spamming.

Skin Ripping:

If you steal any part of this forums skin, then you are RIPPING! And it is NOT tolerated in any way. This means if you try to use something that I've created for this board and place it on your board without getting permission from me, your ripping and if reported your board possibly could get deleted. Don't take the chance, just don't do it.

How do I choose my moderators and so forth?

I pick members that have been active and showed good attitude and have been very helpful. Sending me a PM or asking to be a moderator, won't help you achieve the spot - Just be patient, you might be promoted to something in the near future.

Report Button:

If you feel like someone is abusing their posting privileges, please use the 'Report' button on the post that they posted to report it to a moderator or administrator, and they will look into the issue right away.

- When you use the Report button it must be for something offensive, not following the rules, or for something of that nature!

Hotlinking-Site Promoting

Sorry but we DO NOT and never will allow hotlinking, or site promoting. Making new topics to promote another site is not allowed. You may promote sites in your signatures. But please don't start topics/posts about it. There's a few reasons why this is, first off, there is no forum section for you to start topics about other sites, and secondly some members will join, post their site links, and never come back. This includes if you are making a statement about another site and provide the link..such as this example:

Yeah I am a member at -this- forum/site.

That's site plugging. If you post other site links anywhere else but your signature, they'll be removed. Sorry.

Since we don't allow site plugging, I've created Affiliates. You may become an affiliate with this site after you have at least 20 posts, and your site is accepted. If you have 20 posts or over at SweetJoJo, then send the Admin. a PM containing your link and any other information, if it's accepted you'll be added to the affiliates box at the bottom of the board. Please Note- If you never return to the board after your site is added to the affiliation box, it will be removed.

Sorry but I don't help with other forums. I used to offer help but now I just feel it's time consuming and some what frustrating, if you don't know how to make a forum then you should go to the IF Support Forums and let them help you, they will have more answers than what I do. But, remember our forum is copyrighted so don't try to make yours like ours. I don't help because it takes up time, and I can't answer every question you have like I said I'm not a personal support person..you can find those at the IF Support Forum which can be found on InvisionFree's website. or here http://support.invisionfree.com - Any PM's or e-mails sent to me about "how do I do this, and that on my forum" and all that ..will just be ignored and deleted.

Usernames:

Your are NOT ALLOWED to sign up under more than one account. If we catch you doing this just so that you can pretend your another person, or because you got tired of your other username..or in some such of another way. You'll either get 1 warning, or you'll get that account banned, and the other accounts you signed up as. There isn't a need for more than 1 account, unless you have permission from me or a mod. I can see everyone that signs up and I can determine if your the same person or not. I will contact you about the second accounts before taking action. If you would like to make a change to your username, PM me and I can fix that. Usernames signed up under URL address or some type of link form, will either be changed or deleted.

I WILL NOT change your username more than 3 times. Decide on 1 username and stick with it.

Don't think that we're all about rules, we're not. I actually hate having rules and keeping up with following them but we just want a community that's together and not scattered all out and wild. It's okay if you slip up and break a rule here and there, it happends, we're not perfect and I completely understand that. But if it's happening repeatly ..more than once..then we may have a problem, we shouldn't have to remind you of a rule more than once, specially since the rules are right here for your viewing anytime. // So please just try to follow them and maintain a good community.
