as you said, it wasn't written very well, but hell, who cares.... I don't think many web blogs are meant to be published or anything, haha!
Good to share your opinions even if you think someone 'dressed like a fag' at least if you're looking for a confrontation/ looking to piss people off. To be honest. All rollerbladers rocking skin tight pants look awful to me, including many people I skate with on a regular basis. Wear what you want to wear, not just because it's a trend! Sounds like a good time though, and that pool is like a 10 ft. quarter with 5 ft. of vert, ridiculous!

My problem was that I had way to much to write and I just didnt want to bore anyone with a such a long story and also there was so much to remember too so it was very hard to type shit out clearly.

It's okay, I don't consider myself to be a good writer by any stretch.... but general punctuation can be quite beneficial. Even something as simple as a period or comma whenever there is meant to be a pause or break in your thoughts, even if they're not used 'correctly'.

Thats the biggest problem I noticed I have with writing and it sucks cause I want to continue writing out more detailed stories from trips and whatnot. Thanks for the criticism this is something that I think will push me to maybe look into learning proper grammar haha.

And yes that pic is dope for sure the swimming pool we skated in Vegas was so much fun but holy shit that vertical area was steep and tall as fuck I dont know how he got up there so easy.

Write like your a grom, seeing this shit done for the first time, to help the reader get as hyped as you were. Don't express personal opinions toward style, trends, tricks, etc...let the reader form their own thoughts, based through your eyes. When all else fails, funny one line quotes from pros that sum up the event, work pretty damn well for entertainment value. Picture was sick, stall is burly. What the hell you getting interviewed by Juan for manny?

Yes kelly that was some damn good advice my only problem is that I have been skating for so long and have somewhat been involved in the political side of skating as well that I guess its hard to get back to that "grom" mentality again. I know it sounds dumb but the only person I noticed I really got excited to see at AIL was Fienberg. But yes I will do my best on the next story to really give it more of a less opinionated feel and just say how the event went. I know I can still say some real shit from time to time but yeah your right on with the whole making it more entertaining to read bit.

Oh and Juan was interviewing me because im awesome haha no he was just asking me about the event and my set up and shit. But what makes it even more awesome is that he really only interviewed pros the whole time so yeah now I feel special.

He emailed me the other day saying it should be online soon.

I think blogs are the perfect forum for expressing whatever opinion you like. There were some harsh words in there and I whole heartedly disagree with many of your opinions. However, you have the right to post those opinions on the internet for everyone to see and you will experience some of the repercussions. I would like to take this opportunity to express my opinion that C.J. is a swell chap and he likes to party. You probably met him mid party mode and misunderstood his antics. Overall, WRS was like rollerblading heaven. Every time I turned around one of my friends was there to greet me with a hug and then we got to shred all day together. The party isn't over either. We still have shredders hanging about.

Yes brett we are entitled to our own opinion but truth be told when it comes down to it im sorry to say that even during AIL he was completely drunk and stupid the whole time to me. I think it had to do with him trying to hook up with my long time homie Aarin Gates and so he probably felt like i was competition or something which I in no way was so thats why. But again that is just my opinion and im entitled to it just like you are to yours. And yes vegas is always a party haha thats pretty much all I did when not skating. Who's staying at your place btw? or whos left in town right now still skating?

And yes maybe some of it was a little harsh but I feel like sometimes rollerbladers sugar coat shit way to much. Not that im trying to be a bad ass behind the computer or anything. I just wrote how I felt about both comps. Either way I still respect anyone doing crazy or technical shit and as long as they have blades its all good. CJ,Edwin,Stockwell,Shima,Stephan, and even siezmore who I especially dont like all killed it this weekend.

Yeah I heard C.J. was pretty rowdy during A.I.L. and he expressed his embarrassment about how he acted. I totally understand where you're coming from when it directly involves one of your close friends. Ben and C.J. stuck around for another week and we had some blading and partying times.

P.S. If you ever get the chance to see the Handsome Furs live (especially if there is an open bar) you better be there.
