Excerpts from: E-mail From God FOR TEENS by Claire Cloninger & Curt Cloninger IT'S A JUNGLE OUT THERE! A righteous man may have many troubles, but the LORD delivers him from them all. -Psalm 34:19 _______________________________________________________
| QUOTE | Dear Child,
>People are so confused about the way I work. They think My job is to get rid of all their troubles. I'm supposed to fix every bad situation and make every circumstance perfect.
Sorry. That's not My job. I will fix many of your circumstances, but you're still going to have some troubles. The good news is, as you get to know Me, you'll find taht I am always with you. I will lead you through your troubles and out the other side.
Think of your life as a jungle, and I'm your Guide. I'm not going to turn the whole jungle into Disneyland. But I will lead you through the jungle. When your life gets wild, don't freak out. Just stick close. I'll get you through it.
Your Guide, >God |

Count yourself lucky, how happy you must be - you get a fresh start, your state's wiped clean. -Psalm 32:1 _______________________________________________________
| QUOTE | My Child,
>A lot of kids act like there's no right and wrong. They've got a "do whatever feels good" attitude. But when those same kids go against their consciences, I guarentee you, they feel guilty. They may not let you know about it, but they do. They try to stuff the guilt down deep inside and end up getting mad at Me. It nags at them, so some of them take pills or start drinking to drown out My voice.
The only real way to lost the guilt is by asking Me for forgiveness. I'm the only One Who can let you off the hook. The good news is, I can and will erase your wrong every time. You can start fresh, just as if it never happened. So if you feel guilty about some fo the things you've done, bring them to Me. I'll always forgive you.
Your best Friend, >God |
