iFusion Rules
iFusion was created in early 2005 with one major directive - to provide the largest unique coding resource on invisionFree. So far, I believe we've succeeded in creating the best archive of invisionFree codes, along with the most easily searchable one. iFusion Posting There's only a few rules we ask you to abide by while posting: - Post sensibly - This means, think before you post, and is the #1 thing we ask at iFusion. If you're about to post a criticism of something, ask yourself is it really necessary to voice your concerns over the board, instead of through PM. Obviously if the person has asked for C&C, appropriate constructive criticism is necessary - but posts like "I hate it" or "Thats the worst graphic i've ever seen" are hardly inspiring to someone starting out. Remember, everyone's got to start somewhere. So be nice! - Search around first - This is especially important with Code Requests, considering we have such a great real-time list for you to look at! All you need to do is an Edit >> Find (Internet Explorer) and search for a keyword of your choice, and there you have it. A list of matches. It's really that simple - saves you writing a topic, and saves us the reply pointing you to the Code Index. - No Spam - Spam includes PM advertising your site (which, we can infact track, report and then ban you after taking appropriate action on your board), and general spamming of the forums to raise your post count. Most users will do this to get up to the required amount to advertise your board. Don't do it! Constructive posts we don't mind, honestly - if you contribute properly following the rules, even if all 15 posts are in the same forum - that's fine!. The limit is there so that people don't just join up, request a million things and advertise their board, never posting again. We love giving out codes, but sometimes it's nice to have a bit back. - No Unnessecary Bumping - You may bump your post after 48 hours only. This does not mean, late night 24th of a month, then early morning 26th, it means a fully 48 hours. You are free to provide more information if you feel it necessary, although we do prefer you to "Edit" your original post, especially if no-one's replied yet (as it's still a fresh view then). - No Ripping - This really goes without saying, but I thought I'd highlight it in the Board Rules anyway. Any user caught ripping will have their account terminated, and their IP and account name will be shipped off to invisionFree TOS Violations, and appropriate action will probably be taken against your IP, Username and Board on the server. Just don't do it. This includes all codes posted in the iFusion source, but not on the iFusion site itself. Any codes in the iFusion source are not meant for release in the public domain, and ripping them will result in action. Further, all iFusion codes cannot be posted on your site in say, a Codes section. They are for iFusion posts only. The section is open to guests, so why not link specific questions to us? Thanks for your co-operation with this.
