Too much spam!

There are too many "people" signing up to post links for things that I know we're not interested in.

This is happening on many forums, and I think we should put an end to it.

Could one of the admins delete the spam threads and their posters? On Rasmusa they had to set the board so that users have to be approved by admins before posting. Let's hope that doesn't happen here!

I just figured that if we cleaned the board from spammers it would make the site look better and maybe attract more people!

Yes, you are totally right!

Most of these spammers aren't real people at all, they are computer robots and programs created by people that infiltrate forums (and msn and email accounts).

I've been trying my best to ban and delete the spam whenever this happens, but it will always keep appearing so hopefully the spam will die out soon.

Just a word of warning to you guys though, do NOT click on any links that the spammers post; they are probably viruses :S

Yeah, it's pretty annoying ... whyever people came on the stupid ideas to annoy others by spamming a forum! <_<

But nevertheless thanks for deleting it every time! Must be much work! :hug:
