It has come under my and various other Staff's notice that Spriters and GRG Team members are facing problems fulfilling Requester's requests because its neither clear nor specific. Inspite of creating a rule to follow a certain format of post in the Galores, people dont follow it. We undertsand that formatting a post hogs up time, and time is essential. Thats why I have created a program called GRG Request Post Helper. You have to download this small tool which is just 11 kb zipped.

This little software includes two tabs, as shown in the images below.


The first one is for Sprites/Backgrounds. Background Galore doesnt have its own section as Sprites and Background need the same information necessary. Banners have a new tab as shown in the figure.

If you are requesting a Sprite/Background, choose the first tab. Fill in all the information. The Reference field is optional, leave it as NULL if you dont have one. Once you click on the button to create the code, it will generate an IPB compactable code which will be copied to your clipboard and has to be directly pasted into your post. No additional changes, text should be added thereafter.
All the fields are self explanatory, if you dont understand what to fill, just hold your mouse of the text box and you will get a tooltip telling you what it does. The Banner Tab doesnt include a place to enter the size, you have to enter the size in the Image Descriptin itself

This will ensure that your post doesnt include anything more or anything less. This software has to be used to generate your post so that it remains clean. I have not scripted a PHP page because websites are not reliable. They may be slow, down etc. So you can have this generator right ahead of you whenever you need it. Forget the extensive work of formating things yourself.
