i have some questions and I would be happy if someone could answer them

1. How can you decide witch Port nr you`re going to use?
2. Any special port numbers i have to use?

The port number to use is dictated by the proxy server. When you get a proxy server to use, it's address will be something like aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd:eeeee where eeeee is the port number (valid numbers are in the range 0-65535, with some exceptions).

Well, I don't really understand the problem. All you must do is set the port on FoxyProxy to the port on which your proxy server listens.

Contact the net admin to guarantee/or secure that the proxy server works.
