I wonder if it's possible to include in the proxy settings (when creating a new proxy) the user name and password to authenticate with the proxy (when needed)??
Thanx David |

I think you can use the format:
username:password@host.com but I've not tried it. Use whatever the format is for Firefox to use such proxies without FoxyProxy... it's the same -------------------- |

Sorry, I'm not that good in this sort of things, so, maybe i didn't explained what is happening to me in the correct way.
I surf the web at work, using a LAN and under a proxy. Usually, my connection settings in Firefox don't specify username and password for the proxy, instead of that, a dialog will ask you to enter those. What I want to do is: Use the same proxy but with different users depending on the url pattern. can I do that? thanks David |

Hi,
I don't know. I need a proxy with authentication against which I can test. Do you know how I can configure one? Eric -------------------- |
