When having configured two different proxies both 'status enabled', both without white/blacklist (i.e. used for anything), both utilizing PAC file with authentication
choosing 'proxy-1'
the connection through the first proxy is working, password auth is poping up, etc.
switching 'proxy-1' to 'proxy-2' via 'use proxy-2 for all URLs'
neither the password auth popup appears from proxy-2 nor proxy-2 is used at all afterwards.
The status box does not change to 'proxy-2' and 'proxy-1' stays in use.
Even disabling and re-enabling does not help here - the proxies are not switched.
So at the moment i've three proxies defined
- default ... direct connection
- proxy-1 ... proxy with pac+auth, IP 1.2.3.4
- proxy-2 ... proxy with pac+auth, IP 5.6.7.8
for comparison: with switchproxy this kind of setup works.
any ideas?
just installed beta-4
created a new profile for that etc.
Changes:
The german localization is working now
Errors:
When i try to get into FoxyProxy-Options i get
| CODE |
XML-Verarbeitungsfehler: Undefinierte Entität
Adresse: chrome://foxyproxy/chrome/options.xul
Zeile Nr. 122, Spalte 7: <checkbox id="toolsMenuEnabled"

keep you updated.

That is because the German localization is broken again (due to new strings in the config UI sections of 2.0b4).
If you have access to Babelzilla you can pull the updated localization files from there. Otherwise drop me a note ...
...or switch to English temporarily :(

This means the proxies are used for nothing, not anything. You must specify a whitelist (even if it's just *) in order for a proxy to be used.
