northhadings and aronsburg having been fighting for years over everything. mostly revolving around the two the high schools. from sports titles, to beauty queens they fight to win. rivalry week has always been big one week before each school's homecoming game. vandalize the school, kidnap the mascot, or destroy the quarterback's car, both schools will do it. spirit is high from everyone in each school and they're all very competitive. whether they choose to continue rivalry week this year is unknown. it would be pointless since they're school mates this year.
but a simple earthquake couldn't beat down years of rivalry could it?

So here you go little grasshoppers, I know you all love the rules. But seriously, just read them, it saves us a whole lot of trouble. We are not going to ask you for some silly word that’s in here, mainly because we believe if you don’t read the rules, it’s only going to harm you when you break them and we kick your ass out of here. Mmmkay? Now, the first time you break a rule, you get a warning. Second time, you get a three day suspension. And if you dare break the rules a third time, well then you’re out of here faster than you can say cookie. Now, on to the good stuff.
G E N E R A Loo1. Please be sure to know what the site is about so you don’t get confused. Read the main plot, so you can have a good grasp on what the site is about. This will help you choose a character more easily, and make a plot-coherent app. Like, if the plot says the town is a fairly small town and most people are middle class, I don't want to see on ANY application how your character is fabulously rich.
EDIT: we are currently only accepting canon characters and free-to-mold-as-you-wish characters that are at the end of the canon list. So please, please, don't whine or ask a gazillion times if we are accepting originals. It drives me NUTS.
oo2. RESPECT everyone! That includes Admins, Mods, Members and Guests. IC, OOC and in the CBox. Please take into consideration that you aren't the only person on this board, and there are bound to be some disagreements. Talk and work them out, don't start swearing at each other and saying nasty things. This will not be said twice. Solve out differences through PM if you will, don’t bring it on the board. Oh, and there will be no religious, political or racial discussions on this board, they tend to get ugly.
oo3. When registering, please use a first, midlle and last name, all in lowercase.
Good example: laura jane williams.
Bad example: Laura Williams, Laura Jane Williams, x.x.xLaura.x.xWilliams.x.x.x.
If you make a mistake, please PM one of the Admins and we'll fix it for you. But please try to get it right the first time, us Admins don't want to go running around fixing names.
oo4. BE ACTIVE! It’s awful when a person registers and never posts an application, or when they join and two days later they are gone. I HATE that! There's a special place where you can post if you are going to be absent, please do so. Be warned, there will be activity checks every so often, and you will be deleted.
oo5. Most importantly, have fun! Everyone's here to have fun, enjoy yourself and don't spoil other's fun.
R O L E P L A Y I N Goo6. After you register, go to the application template and fill it up. Don't use any template you may have, there is one here for a reason. Post it as a new topic in the auditions forum. No place else. Oh and please don't post anywhere until you have been accepted, it saves us a lot of trouble.
oo7. NO one liners! Try to make you posts at a minimum of three good, meaty paragraphs. No wait, scratch try. Do. This is a literate role play, if you can't handle that, you don't belong here.
oo8. When role playing, use past tense and third person, except for when your character is thinking. I'm not putting examples, because if you don't know what third person is, it's a sign that you don't belong here.
oo9. Please have an avatar and a signature that displays your face claim. Both are mandatory. If you are going to put icons in your signature, the maximum is 6 if they are 100x100, or three if they are 150x150 (more or less). The maximum length of an avatar is 100 x 100, of a signature 500 x 300 (this size includes text and/or graphics).
o10. No godmoding, in any way, shape or form will be tolerated. It is awful when someone else controls your character's actions. So please don’t. If a post with any gomoding is spotted, it will be deleted without warning.
o11. If you disagree with a Mod’s or an Admin’s decision, don’t be rude, and try to talk things out. We try our hardest to be as fair and as nice as we possibly can. But we are humans, and thus tend to make mistakes. So talk things out instead of being rude.
EDIT: If you have any kind of disagreement with someone, you can’t call them out on the C-BOX. Calling them out means talking about the issue with other people when they aren’t on and saying all the bad stuff you think they did. I’ve seen it done before, and it’s not nice.
o12. No Mary Sue's/Gary Stu's. Don't know what that is? Basically, a drop dead gorgeous character loved by all that is always nice, gets the best grades, is good at sports, is extroverted but at the same time composed and can do everything wonderfully and better than anyone else. We want to make this site as real as possible, so remember that no one is perfect. Add some flaws, they make role playing fun.
o13. Plagiarism is not tolerated. I absolutely loath plagiarism. No excuse for it, you will be banned immediately.
o14. There is no limit on how many characters you can have. But you must be able to handle them all and be active on each account. So in that spirit, I've made a little rule. If you want to have a second character, you must have at least twenty five posts in your first account. If you want a third character, you must have twenty five posts in your second account, and so on. And to keep the male:female ratio even, you can't make more than two girls in a row. So, if your first two accounts are girls, then the third must be a guy. After that you can make another girl if you want.
o15. Site is unrated, so sex, drugs and violence are allowed. If you can’t handle any of these things, then I strongly suggest you don’t join at all. And no, putting a warning in the title isn't mandatory, because you've all been warned. Stuff will happen, so if you're either not ready to handle it or not age appopiate, the best thing would be not to join.
o16. No spamming! Spamming is just annoying, refrain from it anywhere on the board. Oh, and no chatspeak. It’s awful and makes you look like a not very smart person.
So far, these are the rules. As we go on and we see necessary, more will be added. Any attempt to steal my work will result in my hunting you down and making you suffer, and your site shut down immediately. Please, please, ask. More than likely I will give you permission to use them.
