QUOTE (Misty @ May 3 2012, 05:13 AM)

I really really had the strong urge to buy something. So I e-mailed to Jintonik who lives in near Naperville but she had another schedule on that week. She also felt really disappointed like me...  :cryoutloud:
If she could go the sale, she would buy tons of Evan's things and she could speak with his parents, too.

Absolutely right, Yumiko-san! I would have spent a fortune, talked & photographed Mrs. Lysacek, and possibly ask for future interview... OK, my delusion is getting out of control. I stop. Actually, this is the second time I missed a chance to see Evan's mom. (Once she made a speech in DuPage Skate Club. My friend was there but didn't call me not knowing that I was Evan's fan at that time.)

Really glad to know that you are able to obtain something special. I'll be looking forward to seeing your posting.

Christine, I am so happy for you. I can really identify with how you feel about the lightning bolt costume as that was Evan's very first competition costume and it has been talked about so much. I think I would have cried too. As I have said before about items won by our ELLFS, I am very happy an ELFF is the proud owner because you will really cherish it. One thought I had. You might want to talk to a dry cleaner or somebody in the business of preserving fabrics to make sure that the way you do display it does not allow any damage to it. I am sure you know what I am referring to if you are a scrapbooker. The same applies to fabrics. You will want to keep that blue from fading. Congratulations again. I am also glad you got the costume with the colorful sleeves. That costume looks like it went with a Latin rhythm program. I know I have seen a clip of Evan skating with that costume on. He has often said that at that age he was all legs. Now he is legs, arms and torso, all in proportion that make that Evan elegant line!!
