Evan has lost so many championships attempting to do the quad I am relieve that he is not planning on attempting to do it. If he could land it great if not it would be a great disaster. His bones appears to be much more thinner than Plushenko, Abbot, and some of the other skaters. All of that pounding is now taking a toll.

He has his career with SOI, and his future to consider. Nobody has skated any more beautiful than he did last year at the worlds without the quad. I hope he will be able to put on two performances that he will always be happy with.

So sick of hearing about the quad this quad that. It is one jump and while exciting to see should not be what being a champ and skating is all about. The gold medal needs to go to the most complete well executed program whether it has the quad or not. I like Evan's attitude about it and while he may not be able to get the big points that come with the quad he is strategizing how to make up those points aka getting positive points on as many of his elements as possible. The men's comp is scary there are like 8 or so men who could legitimately score gold (well if judged fairly) so who knows. I have a really good feeling though about Evan (and I hope I'm not jinxing.....) but yeah I am def nervous and anxious for him but also have that positive feeling as well.
