Here we go! The live coverage is starting now, and Johnny is the first skater up. We'll see if he can recover from the errors in the short.

3A - popped again. Supposed to be a combo. 3A-2T - good. Scratchy on the landing of the axel. 3S - (changing choreo, but good) 2A - clean. Circular footwork - interesting choreo as usual for Johnny, but I gotta say...he doesn't look like he's really into this performance. Sit spin - not his best, but ok. Beginning to feel the music more. 3Loop - doubled. 3Z-3T-2T - great! 3Z-2T - good. 3F - hard fall. Yikes. Right into a flying sit spin - traveling a bit. Straightline footwork - good, but not emotionally connected so a bit ineffective. Final combo spin - ok. Not the skate he needed. Really rough time out there. He just didn't look very on...really didn't ever get into the program.

Oh, that doesn't sound good :(
Haven't been following skating into details lately, did he have any problems or was this a sudden happening (in the SP)? I suppose this LP could be influenced by that unfortunate SP and the placement..

Ah well, of course Good luck to Evan and hopefully he will make it! :cheer:

Katis - he's been sick a couple times this season and says he hasn't had the time to train properly.

Evan just nailed a GORGEOUS, perfect 4T-3T in the warm up. He had the warm up everyone dreams of! haha. I hope it carries into his performance! OH! and his costume is FABULOUS!!! It's still the same idea (red bowtie) but it's like a very dark blue (or black...can't really tell!) velvet with a white shirt and like i said, red bowtie. It's really nice. Very classy!

Curran Oi had a nice skate, missed the 3A but it was nice.

Now up is Brandon Mroz, 4th after the short.

4T - NICE! 3A-2T - out of spread eagle, nice. 3F-2T-2L - good. Combo spin - not really fast but nice positions. 3L - nice. Good run out on the landing. 3A - turn out. 3Z-3T - very good. Circular step - good. (I guess he skates at the same rink as Ryan Bradley and Jeremy Abbott) Sit spin - ok. 3Z - weird on the take off, but good landing. Flying sit spin - nice positions. Straightline steip - losing a little bit of energy, but still nice. What a senior debut! Very very nice. Great job, Brandon!

Ryan Bradely - 4T - had almost down, but hit. HUGE 3A-3T combo - GORGEOUS. Spin -nice. 3S - singled. Weird. 3A - big again, great! flying sit spin - good. really playing up to the crowd in teh straightline footwork. I love how it goes with the music. Ryan's havin' fun. :) 3Z-2T - very nice. 3L - great. 3Z-2T-2T - a little loss of speed, but all landed. 3F - perfect! Into the circular step now and wow is he going at it! Sellin' it for sure! Combo spin - good centering and speed. GREAT job from Ryan! Only that one 3S, but great job.

3a - very good. 3S - shaky but landed.

Good circular step sequence. Flying sit spin - fabulous. Great positions and speed. 3A - hop inbetwee 3T, 3L - good. Evan's having to fight. 3F-2T-2L - great! 3Z - gorgeous! He's getting more comfortable. 3F - good! Sit Spin - also great. Straightline step - good. Final combo - great. He's not happy with it, but he fought for it. We'll have to wait and see.

Into second behind Brandon Mroz. Tough skate from Evan...Brandon was certainly good though. It was the fall on the quad that did Evan in though.

Agghhhhh!!! I was soooo nervous watching Evan skate...after seeing Brandon's scores, I knew Evan really could not mess up with that quad. I think Evan will be looking at a bronze medal...(and by something like .6 of a point?)

I did like the change of costume though... :)
