There have been some in the French team in the past few weeks.

As probably all of you know, first Brian Joubert left Kurt Browning to collaborate with Evgeni Platov.
Also Alban Preaubert decided he needed some change and switched from Morozov to the Boucher-Zazoui & Hagenauer team, they were making his new program(s?) in Lyon in May. I'm really curious what their collaboration with Alban turns out like, they're not experts in the Men's competition. However, I'm actually quite relieved he left Morozov.

Now, according to the news (in French) we learnt that Pechalat/Bourzat left Boucher-Zazoui & Hagenauer and are now collaborating with Zhulin. Actually, I'm a bit afraid this change might affect their style as I associate Zhulin with programs that are rather far from being original... On the other hand, B-Z & H have been working with all the top French senior dance teams, not to mention at least one promising junior team (plus taking spending almost 3 weeks with Alban) and I don't believe it didn't affect their ability to devide time, attention, ideas etc. etc. equally to all of them.

Mary, I've actually wanted to start such a thread summing up all those changes but I was afraid I'd missed a lot of them as I'd been out of the loop for a while :hide: So thank you for putting it all together! :thankyou:
(guess we might change the thread title then)

I'm a bit at a loss concerning what to think about B/A and DomShabs both picking Linichuk. I honestly don't know... Let's just hope it all brings out the best of them.

Frankly I'm puzzled too for any of the top skaters who find themselves doubling up with the same coach. Time will tell how it works out. I hope for the best for all concerned.

Then there's Takahashi who left Morozov because he (Morozov) took on Oda. One example of an unhappy camper.

Anyone hear who Takahashi has moved to?

As much as I can make out from FSU there's a huge mystery around all that! :skating:

I've heard there were some problems with Takahashi's agent too, in this whole matter.

I just hope he makes the right choices. Last season was so great for him (except for Worlds... but I'm sure that was because of those cakes :lol3: . Remember how he fell all the time in the Gala practice? My ribs almost broke from laughing)

Well, judging by the new short program, I wouldn't be worried at all. Fantastic commitment to the choreography and theme. I wonder if his LP will be as spectacular and charismatic as this. ;)

I'm a bit out of the loop right now :hide: but I'm sure Dai is smart enough not to get lost in all these changes.

At this level - I suspect all the skaters are savvy enough to not let themselves be distracted.
