Here's the one that replaced it:

I'll be at Skate America and will deliver messages from Evan fans/ELFFs who would like to send one.

1) Just send it along,
2) I'll copy and paste it to the "template" I just posted in the SA project thread.
3) Then I'll attach that to what USFS calls "Golden Skate" messages.

They have a cut-out of a skate on gold paper. For a contribution to the Memorial Fund, you can write a message to a skater and

4) USFS will see that he/she/they get it - the Golden skate with the written/attached message - during the competition.

And that's all there is to it. Hope that clears the confusion. Let me kow if you'll be sending one.

Have three messages now. I know more have said their's is on the way There's still plenty of time to add yours if you haven't already joined in.

Here's a picture of the "template" that the messages will be transferred to. Then they will be attached to a USFS Golden Skate and delivered. Maybe even by me.

I've been signed on as a volunteer for USFS fora few hours at Skate America. I'm so excited! Don't know what I"ll be doing yet. It would be nice if I'd get to help with the Golden Skates, but anything is fine by me.

Project update:

11 ELFFs - so far - have sent their messages - and all of those have been transferred to the template and are ready to be delivered. And that doesn't count messages from those of us who are going to be there. I'm sure there will be many more written at the rink!!

For those who still haven't sent one and want to - there's time. The deadline is midnight tomorrow - Nov. 6.
