I've been browsing the forum threads and I just have to say it!! Such respect and caring for each other radiates from every message posted. I'm proud and honored to be an ELFF!

My life has been totally changed and enhanced beyond measure first from the very first day I saw Evan on the ice and second when I found this forum in June 2006 via Megi's Evan fan site.

What a wonderfully warm hearted, caring group of fans who've become friends beyond the boundaries of land or sea! I've been so blessed to meet so many - all of whom have the most caring hearts of anyone I've ever met anywhere. There is no such thing as a stranger in this band of ELFFs. We all meet on the equal ground of friendship inspired by our love of Evan.

He is a people magnet who attracts others just like him. He is a role model for all of us and is as warm-hearted and caring as his fans. He inspires us every day to move outside our comfort zones, try something new, dream and leave ourselves open to all possibilities. I'm proud as I can be to call myself a fan amid this branch on Evan's skating family tree.

Beautifully said, Mary, and I COMPLETELY agree.

Fans are a reflection of the one they admire and follow and the fact that ELFFS are among the most thoughtful, respectful and kind-hearted fans simply reflect the skater and man we admire so much - Evan.

I am very careful about which forums I become involved with and Evan's forum is only one of two forums to which I belong and post regularly.

The support and enthusiasm is wonderfully infectious here.

Japanese fans also are bound together by the friendship now. They have a warm heart with kindness just like Evan!! :wub:

I have completely fallen off the face of this forum due to computer upheaval and hence lost track of the lovely Evan. :cryoutloud: How's he doing? How're you all doing? :hug: We don't get any skating news in Australia, although I did see Evan posting an update or two on facebook.

Well - it's great to hear from you Lizzie! Have been wondering where you disappeared to - hope your upheavals are under control and that we'll see more of you in future.

Evan is thriving after his Worlds Championship skate! SO excited about his new programs - Scherazade for the free and Firebird for the short. Will get to see the debut via Icenetwork next weekend at Cup of China. Can't wait. The suspense is driving me crazy! Can't think of much else these days.

ELFF has been generally pretty quiet during the off season but I suspect will pick up now that the season has started.

Carley and I will be going to Skate America and Nationals. I've offered to deliver messages to Evan so if you'd like to send one, PM it to me by Nov. 6 so I can take it with me. I'm leaving on the 9th for Carley's and we're driving up to Lake Placid from there. That's why I need it so far ahead.

Yep, my computer is all back to its old self these days. That is old and annoying, but working nonetheless.

Have fun at the Skate America and Nationals and I'll try to think of something to send the lovely Evan via you.
