YAYYYY! I AM SO HAPPY!!! I have yet to see Evan's skate though...the live feed I was watching got blocked right before the final flight. :(
Hopefully it'll be up on nbc soon or something! But I am SO SO SO happy for Evan! I know he can do his free skate just as well.

what's crazy to think about is how deep this field is. Wasn't Evan in 10th place at the last olympics? and it was amazing how he fought his way up to 4th? Well this year, Denis Ten is in 10th place and he skated really quite well.

Sad for Joubert, Verner, and Abbott though...bombing must be very disappointing especially at the olympics. I really wanted everyone to do well...and have an amazing battle for the free skate!

Anyway...GOOD LUCK TO EVAN!!!!

EVAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 :cheer: Brilliant, I am so happy for him. In such a deep field he was able to basically work himself into a 3 way tie for first. No matter what I'm so proud of him and I want him to win gold so bad but at this point Thursday, forget about the medal part, I just want him to have another skate that can leave him just as proud and overjoyed as tonight. While writing this I saw Evan's interview after the SP and he basically said the same thing, he just wants to do the absolute best he can for his friends, family and himself and more than anything I want him to achieve that again 48 hours for now.

Top three scores after short program

E Plushenko 90.85

Evan Lysacek 90.30

Takahashi 90.25

Evan`s performance was just out of this world. Just to think that he is close to Plushenko`s heals.

I am so happy for him. :flower: I think that he has alot better chance of bring home the :1st: by not putting medals his top priority just as he did at the worlds.

Evan did a great job - it must have been a really, really, tough competition (and it has not ended yet!). I can tell just by looking at this pic:

I am very proud of him. Go USA!

I am still excited from last night's SP!

I am nervous and excited about Thursday night's FP!

I honestly believe that the momentum is in Evan's favor. Most of all, I'm just thrilled that he performed so brilliantly on the world's biggest stage!

Let's keep breathing and sending positive thoughts to Evan for him to skate his best FP ever!

Wow! If someone would have told me that Plushenko would have the 2nd and 3rd position that close to him in score... I would laugh so hard and say that this person was crazy!! :lol2:

WOW! Just WOW!! Everything was amazing.. All the jumps were great, the timing in the choreography was great !!! WOW!!

:lol2:

I wish we could be tomorrow's night already !!! God, tommorow will be so long!!! :lol2:

:cheer: GO EVAN!!!! :cheer:

(in fact... last night was just amazing!! Despite the performance of Joubert, Verner and Abbott... we had awesome skating performances!!!)
