Is anyone else having trouble getting into the Blades On Ice magazine website? I've tried for the last 3 days to get into the site & it keeps telling me the website is not found. I've tried different web browsers & also typing in the website name into the address bar rather than from where I have it bookmarked & I get the same thing. I was going to go in there to get the latest issue off of there now that the only way you can read it is on their website & they have the new issues on there the first of each month. I really like that magazine so I hope they haven't stopped printing it. There are so few skating magazines out there already I'd hate to see that one go too.

Thanks for the info Mary. I think I do have that as I have printed off all the issues so far now that the magazine is solely online & not printed anymore because of the paper costs & costs to mail it. Since I have a subscription still to it in order to read it you have to have a username which is your subscription # & a password. I have an email for them so may just send an email to see what is up. Maybe they just have the website down & doing some work on it as the last magazine I got said they would have about the upcoming US Nationals in it & some other things. Hopefully that is the case & not stopped it. I used to get this one magazine Spotlight On Skating from Canada that I got at Barnes & Noble but they ceased production a few years ago. I enjoyed reading that one but their website is gone now so I figured that is what happened to that one.

Thanks for the update. I didn't realize they'd gone completely digital. Hope you are able to get an answer soon. Please let me/us know what you find out.

Well, I emailed the magazine & never heard anything back from them. Plus the site is still down so I am suspecting that the magazine has folded due to lack of digital subscriptions. I find it funny in a way when they wrote in one of their issues back last summer when they were going totally digital that they said the other skating magazines would be following them by going that way too but here they have folded & the other magazines are still going strong. It's a shame because it was a great magazine but they didn't do much advertising in their magazine or at any of the skating events so they they did it to themselves. And Mary like you said you didn't even know they had totally gone digital so a lot of people didn't know that. I'm kind of glad that my subscription would have been up in March or May so then I'm not out really any issues & the fact they were putting their issues up every month to read now. And the other thing I wonder if the magazine realized the other magazines had already gone digital within the last couple years so they were set already with both digital & paper issues. I like the fact that International Figure Skating & Skating magazines give you the option to get either type you want. I prefer the paper issues so I can take them with me anywhere but do go under the digital ones also.
