Second to last, it's a good place to skate. He had a good draw. Go Evan!

I don't know where you live but according to my Directv listing Oxygen has it listed from 10-midnight here in the midwest (I'm in Wisconsin). It says the men's free skate is on then. I will definitely be watching esp. to see Evan. I'm getting nervous as I hope Evan does well. I was so proud of him yesterday & with how well he skated. I loved how happy he looked to having done such a great skate. Go Evan! :cheer:

I live in mid michigan, and I am on EST. I have Dish network TV, Oxygen has the mens long program listed 11p-2a live [would be 10p-1a your CST] or 8-11p PST for LA. I think that is the time the men`s LP is going to be alright. I am going keep checking in on Oxygen just in case they have change the time.
Evan most likely will be skating about 10:30 LA time, [12:30 for you & 1:30 for me.] I hope Direct will braodcast the whole program for you, that would sure be a bummer if it don`t. I just added Oxygen to my package specially for the worlds.

I am so happy for Evan, just hope he does not let his nerves get to him, and i know he will do great.

MissMac - March 27, 2009 12:22 AM (GMT)
I believe the FS should be starting sooon!!! But we have a while before Evan skates. Never too early to send good luck vibes, though!!!!

GOOD LUCK EVAN! :cheer:

I am hoping that Directv will be covering the mens too until 1. Maybe they have the scheduled wrong hopefully otherwise I won't be a happy camper. The best part will be on the last hour esp. when the men are on. I just check the Oxygen channel website & they don't list anything between 10 & 1am which should mean that they are covering all of it. It's not the first time Directv has had programming wrong as I've seen them do that on other channels as well. They will have something listed on their programming & then it's not what is actually on at the time. Keeping my fingers crossed that they have the last hour on so I can see it.

MissMac - March 27, 2009 01:56 AM (GMT)
If you can access it, universalsports.com is showing it live right now and it has pretty good quality (definately better than some of the other live streams I've tried)

MissMac - March 27, 2009 02:11 AM (GMT)

Ok, from the way it looks that they are already half way through the 2nd group which means there will be 2 groups left. At 10 my time they should be showing the last 2 groups which means that it should be done by midnight. It certainly wouldn't take 3 hours to show the last 2 groups so hopefully I should be ok. At least I hope so.

MissMac - March 27, 2009 02:40 AM (GMT)
yep...zamboni break for resurfacing of ice... so around ten minutes before group 3 starts, is my guess!

sk8tinglvr - March 27, 2009 02:45 AM (GMT)
I just checked the ISU site & they are done with the first 2 groups so the last 2 are next. When it comes on at 10 they should be just starting the 3rd group or have gone through the first 1 or 2 skaters with the last 9 or 10 to be shown. The competition should be done almost at midnight so I shouldn't have to worry about missing Evan unless some unforseen thing happens like the power goes out but I doubt that will happen. Go Evan! I'll be watching.

MonicaJM2001 - March 27, 2009 02:48 AM (GMT)
whew starting to feel the butterflies......................good luck to Evan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

3rd warm up group on ice now!!!

sk8tinglvr - March 27, 2009 02:55 AM (GMT)
This is the schedule I found on the ISU site. All times are Los Angeles so that would mean Evan would be on about 11:30 my time so it is safe to say the competition will be done by midnight so I won't be missing any of it. Thank heavens! I was getting nervous there for awhile.

I saw that & it's making me even more nervous. They just showed Evan backstage so I'm excited now. I just hope he keeps it together & skates like he did last night. If he does then he has a good chance of medalling. Go Evan & good luck! :cheer:

MonicaJM2001 - March 27, 2009 03:49 AM (GMT)
Someone on another board just mentioned that Evan needs to be at least second to keep 3 spots for US Men at Olympics..............i really hope he is off somewhere with an ipod glued in his ears oblivious to any of this!!!!!!!!! Gooooooo Evan!

Quad? Who needs that quad? haha. He should have been in 1st after the short...so Brian even got a head start! LOL. Gosh that skate was beautiful. But you know, when he got on the ice I could see it in his face. I knew he was gonna do it. I'm so proud!!!

Ouch, I was afraid it might be a stress fracture as soon as he said his left foot was sore. But the season is over now, and he can let it rest.

MonicaJM2001 - March 27, 2009 05:54 AM (GMT)
I am just happy right now. It's just funny how things work out, it seemed he left out the quad so he could make sure he could place well enough for the "team" sake of getting 3 spots and it wins it all!
