........*looks around*........HELLO?........*Hears the echo*...........

I guess that's the same situation as at a buffet. Nobody wants to stand up first and grab the wonderful food in front of everybody. I was always among those people who finally stood up first and got to the food. [face_mischief].gif

Sooo, where are you from?
(I know, of some people I already know, but nevertheless)
I'm from Germany, a student and my friends tend to describe me as a little bit nuts. *really doesn't know why* [face_whistling].gif

Which pilot do you prefer the most? (very important question)
I'm totally into Wedge. wedge.gif

[face_sad].gif Don't I get a cookie?

My fav is probably Wedge, although Wes is awfully fun to write. [face_tongue].gif And I'm becoming very interested in writing Pash more... he's underused. [face_tongue].gif

hmm, Hobbie. *mumbles because she eats the cookie, is happy that it is a choclate-cookie* I must admit, for a writer, he is a very challenging character and I like challenging characters.

PHD? huh.gif Is that a master or something? I study History, English and German-linguistics. (I can talk endlessly about language, although nobody is willling to listen.)

Nope, Myri. No cookie for you... [face_tongue].gif

In the US, here's how it goes. After high school you can go to college. A four-year degree is a Bachelors. Then you move on to grad school, where you can get a Masters (usually 2 years of study) or/and a Phd/doctorate (3-5 years study). When you get your doctorate, you can call yourself Doctor So-and-So. So, I am studying to become Dr. Spee! [face_grin].gif

Ooo, history, German and English? Sounds like quite a challenge. I'm not very language-oriented, unfortunately. I can sort of speak Spanish.

yeah, Pash, Pash is wonderful. I wrote a story when I was 15, where I invented a little brother for Pash. And Wedge, well we certainly agree on this point.

Doctor Spee? Huh, I'm impressed. [face_raised_brow].gif
And I'm thinking about learning Spanish at the Univeristy. But I will certainly learn norwegian. (I need that for History)

*snrk* Doctor Spee... interesting... [face_wink].gif

My title won't be as prestigious... Jesina Dreis, CPA

*snrk*

My favorite pilot... um, don't have one... Wedge, Tycho, Wes, Hobbie, Pash are all pretty much equal in my book.

And, actually, Elscol fascinates me a lot...

Alo, alo!

I'm Brian, new to the forum. Sixteen year old first time fanfic writer from the Seattle suburbs.

As for me, I'm going to have to say Wes. In the fast moving, serious universe of Star Wars, Wes proves that every day can be just like an episode of M*A*S*H. That, and he's simply a load of fun to write about.

I always thought that would make for an amusing crossover fic. I just can't see Wedge as Colonel Potter though... The thought of Wedge saying something like "Horse Hockey" makes me laugh hysterically.
