I was watching James May (Top Gear presenter), try to convince modern kids of the joys of building plastic model kits by making a life-size plastic kit of a Spitfire.
Next week, James and the public build a garden from plasticine for the Royal Chelsea Flower Show. |

He made them build a Dweebfire? What a shame ... at least he could have chosen a real aircraft - such as Me 109 or Fw 190

Nah ... been gone for over a year. Tough 13 months - been ill. Two surgeries, 9x chemo therapy. Can't recommend the experience.

I'm through for this one ... gotta go to post-therapy checks every three months, but that's okay. As long as the bugger doesn't come back.

I busted my hand again. Immobilized for at least two weeks. Looking like its going to be longer. Sigh. |

thor: glad to hear you've got thru chemo ok. I lost my little brother to cancer and the chemo was the worst of the treatments. Take care of yourself....
