A native of the planet Corellia, she was part of the crew of the Pulsar Skate. When the Skate was intercepted by the Black Asp in the Chorax System, she assisted in the rescue of Corran Horn. When she discovered it was Corran she had rescued, she was not happy. It was Corran's father who had sent her own father to Kessel. She often stayed with the family of Wedge Antilles when her father was on a dangerous run. Later, when her father tried to help Wedge Antilles track down the pirates that were responsible for his parents' deaths, Wedge and Mirax became good friends, almost like a brother and sister. When Booster was sent to the Spice Mines of Kessel, Mirax was not yet of legal age. However, that didn't stop her from taking over her father's businesses, using her own business sense to turn the operation into a profit-generating endeavor just slightly on the illegal side. Later, Mirax often helped the Alliance and the New Republic, by smuggling supplies and weapons to Alliance bases. She was an instrumental part of the plan to convoy bacta from Thyferra to Coruscant during the Krytos crisis, but was not part of the convoy when it was destroyed in the Alderaan System. Instead, she and Liat Tsayv had taken a sample of the bacta in the Pulsar Skate to Borleias for examination. The sample eventually made its way to Qlaern Hirf, who used it in the creation of rylca. Mirax reappeared on Coruscant shortly after Tycho Celchu's trial was called off. During the time leading up to the Bacta War, Mirax became increaslingly in love with Corran, despite their familial differences. When Corran asked her to marry him, shortly before the Battle of Thyferra, she quickly agreed. They were married on the Lusankya by Wedge Antilles, in the wake of the battle, in order to make sure that Booster didn't have his say. Then, they were married in an elaborate ceremony on Coruscant. While Corran continued to fly for Rogue Squadron, Mirax started her own import/export business, convincing people that they needed goods that weren't really necessary. During the Republic's struggle with Grand Admiral Thrawn, she used the business as a cover to fly supplies to, and rescue refugees from, worlds Thrawn had subjugated. When Leonia Tavira started her pirate raids, Mirax appealed to the Republic to let her help catch the young woman, for it would help free Corran up to begin thinking about having a child. However, she was captured shortly after her mission began on Nal Hutta, when the Jensaarai were able to read her intentions. She was held on Suarbi 7/5 until rescued by Corran and Luke Skywalker.

Yay Mirax!!! She is one of the best EU characters.

Woah there, just because we ignored the pilot threads doesn't mean we hate mirax.

I loved the way her character was portrayed. She was a vivacious but centred woman with strong beliefs she wasn't afraid to express. Or at least that's what i always thought of her.

Completely agree; that's a dead-on description, and exactly why I liked her so much.
