So hurrah, I'm not dead; I can breathe out of my right nostril AND I've moved into my new apartment! Now I just need internet THERE and to get all the rest of my crap there (so I suppose I'm not "officially" moved in yet).

Argh; August is a tough month. :(

Right, so I'm STILL not dead, despite the better efforts of pneumonia and a fever of 103, and my stupid university not recognizing receipt of my tuition payment. *grumbles*

Other than that, I'm mostly moved in. That means my desktop computer, my critical books (mostly philosophy, religious texts and other non-fiction), my various software packages, lots of clothing (who knew underwear was such a rare commodity...).

And best of all...

I have my internet here, a nice 16 Mbps DSL service. Yay!

And for the next two or three weeks, I don't have anything but work on the weekends to occupy my time. Next weekend (my birthday weekend), I'm going to go out to a hotel with a couple of my closest friends and just vanish from the face of the world for a few days, so that'll be fun. Meantime, I'm going to settle in and get as much writing done as possible. I'm working on a piece of totally unrelated fiction, the details of which I shal conceal from this forum unless anyone wants to PM or e-mail me...

And I'm trying to come back to some Star Wars fic, preferably pilot fic, though I intend to go about it in what will for me be an unconventional fashion, so I'll get more into that a little later.

Yay! Maybe I'll actually finish a story, lol. I'm so bad.
