I've just updated the site with a few things it was lacking, specifically:

• New emoticons! I finally made some custom Ulala and Dante emoticons; these work both in the forum and in the shoutbox on the front page. You can insert them just by clicking on them from the menu (click 'smilies' under the shoutbox to get that), or by adding the letter 'd' for Dante or 'u' for Ulala to the start of the usual shortcut.
• Archive! Now that there's enough episodes for things to get a bit confusing, I've finally added an archive page. It's also kind of nice just to look at all those little thumbnails. u:D
• Favicon! I made a little favicon for the site; this should appear next to it in your bookmarks/favourites, and by the URL in your browser. Turns out these are pesky things to work with though, so it might not do all of that for you depending on your browser.

Now that I've worked out how to add the custom emoticons, I can in theory just keep making them - although I'm approaching the limit (48) for the shoutbox, so I might have to start sacrificing the original smiley guys to make room for the new.

So, er, if anyone has any idea why they don't seem to be working properly in the shout box, do let me know. d:-[

Right, solved that mystery - it turns out that the smiley parser for the shoutbox isn't as cunning as the one on the forum, since it seems to 'search' through the text for the smilies in the order they appear in the box. This means that having a regular code with a 'd' in front of it just translates into a regular smiley with a 'd' in front of it! So I've had to change the codes in the shoutbox to have a d in the middle for Dante and a u in the middle for Ulala... and in some cases that still created smileys (like :D) so I had to add a random letter a as well. It's madness! But at least they work now. uB)

Next, I just have to work out what I've done to mess up the index.php page so that the 'news' section appears further down each time you look at a new page. :dblink:

Ah, I see - somehow the shortcut for that smiley had become a Dante one, but the Dante one has already been defined and so it uses that. Or something. Anyway, the point is it is now possible to go: u:-[
