Dungeons
For the most part, the dungeons are cold and dank because they're situated under the lake. Within the draughty corridors, both the potions classroom and Slytherin common room can be found. On the other side of the school, in a far friendlier set of dungeon corridors, the kitchens and Hufflepuff common room can be found.

Main Levels
The main level corridors are home to most of the classrooms, and other places like the Library and Trophy Room. On the ground floor, the impressive Great Hall can be found.

Upper Levels
Hogwarts has a multitude of towers that are home to many a secret nook and cranny as well as the occasional classroom. The Gryffindor and Ravenclaw common rooms are in the upper levels as well.

Grounds
Hogwarts is set in expansive grounds which the students can enjoy whenever they feel like it. From sunbathing to snowball fights, the grounds can be used all year round. There are a multitude of areas on the grounds; ranging between wide open spaces for letting off steam to quiet shady areas to lie back with a book to keep everyone happy.

Diagon Alley
Tapping just the right brick in the wall behind the Leaky Cauldron pub in London will reveal an archway that is the portal to Diagon Alley. A long cobbled street where an exciting array of shops and restaurants may be found, Diagon alley is a one stop shop for witches and wizards everywhere.

Knockturn Alley
A dingy alleyway where the shops are devoted to Dark Arts items, Knockturn Alley is connected to Diagon Alley near Gringotts. Anything that a dark wizard could possibly need is supplied here.

Ministry of Magic
Support for the Ministry is currently at an all time low , considering their inability to deal with the Death Eater situation. More faith has been placed in a rumoured band of vigilantes, called the Order of the Phoenix, than in the Ministry's finest aurors.

St. Mungo's
No one wants to end up in this hospital unless they work here. However, it seems to be an unfortunate sign of the times that St. Mungo's is so very busy. Between genuine victims of the Muggle-born persecutions and those stupid enough to take unsafe or unmarked potions, the staff is overworked and the waiting room overly crowded.

Order Headquarters
In the heart of muggle London, the Order of the Phoenix has set up headquarters in an apparently deserted factory. Or at least, that is what it would appear to be to any passing muggles. Within however, a rather homely set up can be found. There is always someone around and Dumbledore acts as the Order's secret keeper.

Godric's Hollow
Originally founded by Godric Gryffindor, the Hollow has many alumni of Gryffindor house as residents. The Dumbledore Manor, home of Albus, Alexandria, and Annaira Dumbledore, is located here. Bathilda Bagshot's home is right nextdoor to the reknowned wizarding family. James Potter and his family live here as well, so Sirius Black is usually found in the area during holidays.

Grimmauld Place
The historic home of the illustrious Black family, Number 12 Grimmauld Place is a household full of Slytherin alumni, save for a few "black sheep" (no pun intended). Regulus Black makes his home here, and it was once the home of the sisters Bellatrix and Narcissa Black until they married. Sirius has his own room here, but prefers to stay with James or Annaira instead.
