I found a way to let it rain in Week 4. Actually it's very easy. Start week 1 let it rain outside (patch or wait), enter Sahasrallas ( will I ever get his name?) and save there. Then open week 4 rom and load the savestate inside.
The problem is that, if you save outside, the game crashes. Anyway you can also use my savestate. Snes9x Savestate You can stop the rain by applying 7fffff21 twice. The lumberjacks are not at the tree between 06 and 37, the code 7fffff26 let them reappear but in a messed up form. So you can find out yourself that there's nothing to discover, however - due to my savestate transfer the Week 1 Time Related Events are activated. This means that I can't full clear out if there is happening anything if Week 4 Time Related Events are activated -and- it is raining, because Duke had the strange finding that there is somebody supposed to be in the Lumberjack brothers house: Week 4 mystery. But actually I think not that there's much to find after Euclid's tree hack and this. -------------------- |

Nice to know they actually do move in with rain! Did you try talking to them? Oh and 06 to 37? That's a curious lapse of time... did you try taking Zelda to the top of Death Mountain (and see if she eventually calls you)? And yeah, we already knew, thanks to Euclid, that the tree would not budge. -------------------- |

Actually I didn't check if the time related events are really from Week 1, but I assumed this, because the storm can be stopped using the time event from Week1...
I now checked it by the ether/bombs which should appear in Week 1 at 20 and Week 4 at 28, none of these appeared. [EDIT:] It is week 1. I got unlimited bombs at 44 and full hearts at 48 Yes, I tried talking to them, the messed up Zora lumberjacks... they say the same as usual "You are strong, there's a master sword in the woods". Oh, and they are not inside the house either when they are not at the tree. 30 minutes are really way too long to not being at the tree. I wonder ~if~ it was meant to be normal that they are inside, and a special event that they are outside. You see, the sign says "OUTSIDE at good weather" not "inside at bad weather". Oh, and I didn't see Zelda at all, and no, she's not calling for you :-/ -------------------- |

I've done this before, didn't I say so in the other thread?
Anyway, yes, that's how to get them inside. Pity we can't get the person to appear. I assume it's just a merged sprite of the two sitting down or something, but it then got cut later. Were there any unused lines in the script? |

Wait, so do they show up inside or not? And eh, it's rather hard to tell if all lines are used.

No they don't, but what I mean is maybe that was the intention.
Also, the fact the rain exploit changes timed events to week 1 may also affect them appearing there. If it were somehow possible to make it rain without doing that maybe they would be there (although I doubt it). |

There has to be a pointer triggering their appearence... (or of whomever was meant to be there)

Wouldn't it be funny if they're the ones that were meant to give you the Magic Cape?

It seems unlikely, but not impossible.

Even if they ~aren't~ meant to give you the Magic Cape... maybe if you can force it to rain in Week 4 like you want, you can just put the Cape there anyway? Gives you a reason to have it in game!
