I had a dream about Zelda DS a few months back, but it wasn't terribly interesting... basically, the game had OoT/MM looking graphics and engine, except it was set on the Great Sea. It was a pretty disjointed dream, but I remember that you could make your boat move by blowing into the micro-phone to create wind to push it along.
Then I was running around inside a large boat, like when you're on Tetra's pirate ship in TWW except when I went out onto the deck, a whale suddenly crashed into the boat and killed me. -------------------- |

That sounds even worse than having to change the wind's direction all the time
You've played Illusion of Gaia, have you not? -------------------- |

I did once a long time ago.. never owned it or finished it, though
Yes, having to blow into the microphone to make your boat move would be terrible as a game mechanic, but what can you do.. it was a pretty silly dream What I find odd is that everytime I have a dream about Zelda games (which doesn't happen very often), they always seem to relate to the Wind Waker in some way This post has been edited by coinilius on Jul 29 2005, 03:33 AM -------------------- |

Well, it wasn't my game so I never really played it all the way through, just played it a bit once and that was it

Every Zelda fan should be coaxed into playing Soul Blazer Illusion of Gaia and Terranigma. Via emulation if necessary.

Terranigma is by far the best game, but I would reccomend playing them in order if possible.
I didn't, because when I played IoG and TG I did not even know SB existed. -------------------- |

I didn't like the re-re-re-re-visiting in Soul Blazer (i.e., where you couldn't kill some enemies until you got better weapons). But other than that it was pretty interesting. Weird, but interesting.
Not as good as Crusader of Centy, but that's the Genesis fan in me... |

I've had another Zelda dream
Somebody (Possum?) had made a Zelda Classic like editor for OoT or MM (it had stuff from both games as well as TWW, just like ZC has stuff from other games than the first) and I was playing a "custom quest" that was really a boss rush with all of the bosses from the three Zelda 3D games (in order of difficulty) But it wasn't so though because among my items was the MM
Fierce Deity mask
Between bosses there were also some short courses you had to skillfully navigate (think stuff like climbing between TWW
Puppet Ganon and Gandondorf
, only not always going upward or using the hookshot) Then when that was over I went on to play a four players version of Donkey Kong (not country, think the ones with Mario on GB, only this had both Mario and Wario brothers) -------------------- |

Well apparently no one cared about the last dream... but it's time for another installation
This time I had a dream in which it was revealed through AR codes that the original ALttP had a (rather glitchy) Palace of the Four Sword like area in which you could fight powered up bosses but also find all new items. I don't remember much, unfortunately. I think I fought Vitreous and got the Roc Feather, then King Helmasaur (who could now aim his tail like Trinexx does the head) and obtain a kajigerillion bombs. This made me think: how awesome would it have been if Nintendo had left ALttP GBA open like Super Mario Advance 4? You know, being able to add new areas and features from other games of the seriers (or entirely new), just like in SMA4 with the e-Reader levels (that feature elements from other Mario games as well as all new ideas) Also a few days ago I was dreaming of how to fix a couple of rooms that were giving me troubles in AST and when I woke up the ideas actually worked Incidentally, I've been reading this topic again and thought: blowing into the microphone to move a boat (one with a sail of course) may be too much of a bother... but it could be used to give it a sudden boost This post has been edited by Duke Serkol on Jun 15 2006, 03:44 PM -------------------- |

Sometimes, I really have troubles trying to understand what you're telling us Chief. Why would I be talking about your bed? -------------------- |
