But it's actually easier to find good sci-fi in movies than in tv shows. Big name movies at least, nevermind Sy-Fy's stuff... Plus we can't really go and say ST:DS9 is garbage because that's ST:Voy's job And isn't "anything BBC" a bit unjust? I loved the Jekyll miniseries for one. And yeah, Farscape is known for causing loss of Sanity points, but that's the idea, it's a guilty pleasure, even more than Dr. Who.
Yeah I originally saw the first episode of B5 by renting it back when it came out, on VHS. I thought it was something that could be considered passable only back when the original Star Trek series came out several decades ago. It was only recently after I kept hearing praise for the show on-line that I gave it another chance. Season 2 to 4 are pretty darn great. -------------------- |
