I was going to say how much I enjoyed the game, but then you killed the mood by making it into a gender-equalitarian statement thread and bringing up once again your grudge against Oracles that I'm inclined to believe pretty much everyone here is tired of hearing about.

Judging from that post, I'd say he wasn't getting tired of it, AT ALL!!

& even Tre said he prefers playing as a girl, & he wouldn't mind Zelda rescuing

It's a more detailed version of my grudge, although anyone who disapproves of the idea is welcome to *IGNORE IT*!!

Half of what I say in response to the likes of you and Possum is totally tongue-in-cheek, you just have to work out which is which.

I read this post earlier but somehow missed the poll. Does the protagonist's gender affect how enjoyable the game is considered to be? Maybe if it's pseudo-porn like Bayonetta, but... a cutesy platform game for children?

I'm complaining that Zelda didn't rescue Link, as Twinrova COULD HAVE CAPTURED & SACRIFICED HIM:

& Zelda *COULD* have rescued Link, & that would make the most sense!!

Twinrova even TALK ABOUT SACRIFICING HIM, so shouldn't that be forshadowing it?!

& why would Twinrova threaten to come back to haunt Link, & then, (supposedly), come back to haunt a "different Link"?!

In my opinion, they didn't!!

Only if she was actually a half-decent warrior. A princess who is only good at, well, being a princess wouldn't exactly grab a sword and carve through a bunch of monsters to get to Link.

I bet she could get powers from the supporting characters, (i.e. the Maku Tree(s)/Sprout, the Sages, the Oracles, etc, etc), & besides: ZELDA MAY NOT BE A GOOD WARRIOR, BUT HER ALTER-EGO SURE AS HECK IS!!

What do you have to say to that?!

EDIT: & no-one better say that they are different characters, otherwise I'll have a major BONE TO PICK WITH THEM!!

That getting her to borrow powers sounds really, really lame? As in "why not the first person to walk down the road then"?

And Sheik is pretty awesome but 1) Seeing as not even Impa in OoX is labeled a Sheikah I imagine their memory is all but forgotten and this Zelda can't transform 2) there's a reason Link still had to do pretty much everything himself in OoT.

Just because she isn't labeled as such, doesn't mean she isn't!!

I didn't say she can't be a Sheikah descendant, only that awarness of such appears unlikely.

You know, for a moment there I thought you were close to being rational and meant that Zelda and Sheik are not different characters, not that the Zeldas of OoT and OoX had to be the same.

I apologize, I overestimated your grasp of the series once again.

I could mount some argument as to how what you suggest is not just impossible but completely ridiculous (mentioning how Link and Zelda in Oracles do not previously know each other, how the Impas from the two games look completely different etc.) but by now I know that a debate with you would prove completely useless and extremely aggravating, so I won't.
