I doubt that even if we all made enough noise about this Nintendo would release anything similar or release the games for the Virtual Console & or Wiiware. Same goes for the N64 DD . . .

My best guess is that Satellaview games would be caught up in all sorts of rights issues - with coding by Nintendo, audio by St.GIGA, and the issues with seiyuu contracts.
This is of course assuming Nintendo even has all of this material archived personally. And then there's the issue of how to "emulate" the service. Especially when you consider that currently there is no "perfect" Satellaview emulation yet. And I'm sure if they bothered with the Satellaview, there'd be demand for 64DD products as well... |

Duke, you scolded me before on not having manners for this guy. Figures when I try, the tables end up turning.

I'd like to see some more demand for 64DD material...

There's some rumors about the 64DD Ura Zelda, that, if they lead to eventual disc image dumps, would surely raise the demand for 64DD Material sky high on the emulation side. Also, if 64DD Mother 3 really still exists somewhere....
The problem is that besides that, only F-Zero X fans really care for 64DD... ... and I'm an F-Zero X fan. With no money! Woe is me! |

Mother 3 64DD would be the most awesome bit of 64DD material to see, unless there actually is something interesting to show for Ura Zelda. Beyond that, well, some of it would certainly be interesting to see, if not exactly popularist enough to have any one clamouring for it.

Aren't you forgetting Nintendo Sim City fans? Going off topic a little further, if I could choose one and only one never released game to go the way of StarFox2, I'd pick the GameCube Kirby platformer. That looked like it had the potential to be the best game in the series. -------------------- |

If there was just a giant dump of 64DD beta content, there would be a lot of interesting things to pick through, though of course, it wouldn't be enough to interest a mainstream audience.
