Forum Rules Board Guidelines

1 - We ask that you do not insult, ridicule or threaten other posters, old or new that they may be. Also, please, do not spam :)

2 - We ask that whenever you wish to write about later parts of a game, you apply the spoiler tags to said text. Especially if it is something about the game's story, bosses, puzzles or items.
In the help forums however, it is not required to use spoiler tags for anything except the game's story. Failure to do so may result in warning, suspension or banning; depending on the number of times this happened, the severity of the violation (such as describing the game's ending) and possible maliciousness of the violator.
Alternatively, you may create a topic with the words *spoilers for "game(s) name"* in its title. That will exempt everybody from using spoiler tags in that thread for spoilers about said game. However know that said thread may not be modded, unless specifically requested for a violation of these rules.

3 - Due to the high level and frequency of malicious spam bots posting in the forum, registration is required to post replies in any of our forums.

I doubt that even if we all made enough noise about this Nintendo would release anything similar or release the games for the Virtual Console & or Wiiware. Same goes for the N64 DD . . . tongue.gif

My best guess is that Satellaview games would be caught up in all sorts of rights issues - with coding by Nintendo, audio by St.GIGA, and the issues with seiyuu contracts.

This is of course assuming Nintendo even has all of this material archived personally.

And then there's the issue of how to "emulate" the service. Especially when you consider that currently there is no "perfect" Satellaview emulation yet. And I'm sure if they bothered with the Satellaview, there'd be demand for 64DD products as well...

I'd like to see some more demand for 64DD material...

There's some rumors about the 64DD Ura Zelda, that, if they lead to eventual disc image dumps, would surely raise the demand for 64DD Material sky high on the emulation side. Also, if 64DD Mother 3 really still exists somewhere....

The problem is that besides that, only F-Zero X fans really care for 64DD... ... and I'm an F-Zero X fan. With no money! Woe is me!

Mother 3 64DD would be the most awesome bit of 64DD material to see, unless there actually is something interesting to show for Ura Zelda. Beyond that, well, some of it would certainly be interesting to see, if not exactly popularist enough to have any one clamouring for it.

Aren't you forgetting Nintendo Sim City fans?

Going off topic a little further, if I could choose one and only one never released game to go the way of StarFox2, I'd pick the GameCube Kirby platformer. That looked like it had the potential to be the best game in the series.

If there was just a giant dump of 64DD beta content, there would be a lot of interesting things to pick through, though of course, it wouldn't be enough to interest a mainstream audience.
