Forum Rules Board Guidelines

1 - We ask that you do not insult, ridicule or threaten other posters, old or new that they may be. Also, please, do not spam :)

2 - We ask that whenever you wish to write about later parts of a game, you apply the spoiler tags to said text. Especially if it is something about the game's story, bosses, puzzles or items.
In the help forums however, it is not required to use spoiler tags for anything except the game's story. Failure to do so may result in warning, suspension or banning; depending on the number of times this happened, the severity of the violation (such as describing the game's ending) and possible maliciousness of the violator.
Alternatively, you may create a topic with the words *spoilers for "game(s) name"* in its title. That will exempt everybody from using spoiler tags in that thread for spoilers about said game. However know that said thread may not be modded, unless specifically requested for a violation of these rules.

3 - Due to the high level and frequency of malicious spam bots posting in the forum, registration is required to post replies in any of our forums.

QUOTE
Quite right. But admittedly, it would have been hard pressing to place FS and FSA AFTER ALttP and LoZ because of a later addition, don't you think?

It would have, although perhaps if you just moved the entire Four Sword Saga, TMC included, into a post AoL time-period... not that it matters lol

And true about the
Master Sword
in the Oracles - out of the three timeline branches I feel that one is probably about as complete as it is ever going to get, as it seems like the reason for it was to split all the older games off into their own branch so they don't have to worry about them getting in the way of newer games.

I'm confused, why it it a problem at the
Master Sword
is in the Oracle games? Is it because the fact that
it was left in the woods at the end of LttP?
Well, before it was because of
'and the master sword sleeps again... forever' line in aLttP, as well as the vague way in which you get it (linked game, multiple ways depending on the way you played through the games). Now the Hyrule Historia timeline seems to be placing the Oracles as having the same Link as aLttP, which adds the further complication that the MS has to have moved from its pedestal in a short period (possibly while also factoring in it's appearance in Ancient Stone Tablets?)...
Thanks for that. Also I just thought of something else, how did it get there if those two game don't take place in Hyrule?

Has anybody here emulated Four Swords Anniversay Edition?

I need a screenshot from the new areas in the DS version. If anyone is up to helping me out, please PM me.

...it may seem strange, but believe me this is BS Zelda related.

I'm assuming it's possible judging by the screens here

The screenshots on the wiki article suggest the graphics are ripped straight from the originals.

Still not sure what you mean.

Okay guys, I wanted to keep this a surprise, but I guess I'll just show you what I'm trying to get.

As you can see,
Nintendo changed the sprite for the graves
. Playing on my DS, I'm able to tell where each pixel is, but I can't tell black pixels from blue ones. That's why I'm trying to find an emulated screenshot of this, so that I don't have to deal with scanlines.

How is that sprite BS Zelda-related? Looks like censorship to me.

Still, nice noticing it!

My Soul Calibur II Magic Set patch changed the Magic Shield to the way it looks in Soul Calibur II. Seeing as the original shield had a cross on it, I changed the crosses on graves and the book to the same design.
However now we have Nintendo's official update on the tombstones: they put some illegible writing on it. So I'd like to make a new version of my patch that does the same (the book, of course, will still have the same design as the shield).

...and yeah, to heck with the spoiler tag. After the picture if people that don't want spoilers haven't bailed out yet, then they're looking for it laugh.gif
