It says on Map1 rom:
1, Download the very Original BS-Zelda as it was dumped and put on the web.
This game will crash after 57 minutes, but you may mix any patches as you wish. Included are three save states, one to skip the seven minutes wait and two by Roto and Vel to fight Ganon.
and
2, Apparently the rom above is not the very original dump, but one that is already cracked to work on some emulators. It doesn't really make a difference and we really reccomend the above over this one, but for the records, here is what is regarded as the very original dump in SWC format.
Well for my experiment I started with the second rom for Map1 because it's completely original and unaltered.
But with Map2 rom it says:
Download the BS-Zelda - Map2 as it was dumped in week1, and found. The (as far as we know) only patch applied is to prevent the 7 minutes waiting time at the beginning (and a header by Eddzzz has been added to facilitate patching). For some purpose (e.g. real hardware) it is necessary to have this map2 rom in swc format
Seems this only has a minimum patch but for my experiment I need a FULLY original (unpatched) copy of Map2 rom (just like I did with the Map1 rom). Does someone have a copy of the ORIGINAL unpatched Map2 rom?
Sadly no. Except maybe somebody in Japan.
I've tried searching on various Japanese websites trying to see if maybe it was just lying around somewhere, but have had no luck.
I doubt that something as valuable as that, though, would disappear forever - very likely there's some elite group of Japanese ROM Hoarders keeping it and vairous other rare Satellaview ROMs to themselves. I've tried communicating with Japanese folks before, but I'm pretty certain I look lke a doofus trying.
