The rules. A dull read, but they make things run that much smoother in the long run and that means more fun.
1. The most important rule: Have Fun! That’s what we’re here to do and do it we shall.
2. Respect your fellow player: Basically think back to the old ‘golden rule’ of treating others like you would want to be treated…though if someone does treat you badly please don’t do it in return, just report the problem and we’ll all work to get things cleared up.
3. Registration: -When registering please register with your character's first and last name with both names capitalized.
-Please fill out the character application and post in the new applications forum where it will be read through by the staff.
-Multiple characters for players go up to three and please keep the gender's somewhat even. Also please no characters by one player on the same Torchwood team or any other situation where the characters would be in very close contact.
4. Posting:
-Proper grammar is appreciated. It makes everyone's life easier while posting and really isn't that difficult.
-As long as a post is readily replied to length should not be an issue. Quality over quantity is appreciated. Around two-three paragraphs per role-play post would be perfect.
-The dreaded Mary-Sue and her like-minded kin should be avoided. They’re just no fun to play or play with.
-General RPG etiquette is always appreciated and really relates to the previous rule of respecting your fellow players. So no god-modding or things along that line please.
5. Touchy Issues:
-Drama in game is good, out of game is bad.
-There may be adult themes that come up now and then. If you feel they should be tagged then please do tag them. If you do not tag and are addressing such themes please do not go into details. A tagged topic can go up to NC17 content, an untagged topic may only go to PG13.
Any other questions please send on to the staff or post in the suggestions and improvements forum. Thanks for sticking with me through that read!
