the internet this is how both torchwood employees keep in touch through e-mails and instant messages, and is also how most of the country stay connected to. there's a private torchwood intranet for employees, and then there's the general 'net too! Have fun browsing! Make sure you clear your web history though, guys - I don't think Owen wants to see pictures of bunnies, Gwen!

cardiff bay barage The Cardiff Bay Barrage lies across the mouth of Cardiff Bay, Wales between Queen Alexandra Dock and Penarth Head. It was one of the largest civil engineering projects in Europe during construction in the 1990s. The concept of a barrage was first suggested in the 1980s as a way to help regenerate Cardiff's largely disused docklands. The barrage would create a large freshwater lake intended to attract investment into the docklands. The bay was part of the Bristol Channel which has the second largest tidal range in the world. As a result, for half of the day, the bay was empty of water, leaving large unappealing mudflats exposed. The barrage was consequently seen as central to the regeneration project. The government established the Cardiff Bay Development Corporation to build the barrage, and to redevelop the area as a whole.

queen alexandra dock Queen Alexandra Dock is a dock in Cardiff Bay on the coast of Cardiff in south Wales. It was one of the principal ports during the late nineteenth and early twentieth century during the age of coal exportation and along with Barry grew to be the largest coal exporter in the world by 1913. However following World War I when the coal trade declined rapidly the dock became deserted and left to mudflats. However by the 1980s the great potential of Cardiff Bay and the dock became realised and the Cardiff Bay Development Corporation began extensive development of the dock and the rest of the bay. A number of shopping complexes were built at the site but during the 1990s in became the location of one of the points of the Cardiff Bay Barrage which was built across to Penarth Head.

the point The Point is a church-turned-popular music venue in Cardiff Bay, Cardiff, Wales. The Point is situated in the old merchant's quarter of Mount Stuart Square. The square was named after Lord Mountstuart, who represented Wales in Parliament during the Napoleonic period. The focal point of the square was a church, constructed around 1900, that would later be turned into The Point. The church was constructed in 1900 to replace a temporary iron frame church and opened as the chapel of St. Mary's. In 1912, it became a separate parish under the name of St. Stephen. The parish was deconsecrated in 1992 and the church was used as a community center and theater until 2001, when it was purchased by its current owners. Tremendous renovations in 2003 transformed the church to a venue for live music performance. The entire building was restored and much of the original architecture was kept, including all the stained glass windows. The Point is now equipped with a fully functional and permanent stage, lighting system, in-house PA, and projection system.

No.14 Carting St Cassie's never been on for tidiness, so naturally her flat is the epidomy of orderly chaos. Random assortments of human and alien artifacts lay scattered across various surfaces as if a bomb and blown up a museum. scattered within the valuable pieces of technology are the mundane objects that fascinate Cassie such as popsicle sticks, keys to nothing in particular, a grand collection of used batteries, 12 lamps of varying shapes and sizes all guarded by towering stacks of books in every language and covering every subject from astro-physics to plate tectonics.
