Mercury yawned again, and zoned out as she stared at the sky. She could hear Mikel talking, but it all went in one ear and out the other ... With a shake of her head, she started listening in time to hear his comment about eating stars. "I bet they taste like... Sugar." She reached her hand up at them, closing one eye at grabbing at them. "I wonder what they would taste like in tea..."

When Mikel didn't reply, she glanced over, noticing his eyes were closed. She continued to look at him for a second, but shrugged and returned to futilely grabbing at stars.

Mikel flashed a smile. "It's reaaaal interesting if you're a nineteen-year-old, hormone-driven male." He winked. "Besides," He stopped and stretched out the kink from his back. "If I slept all day, I wouldn't know my dreams from our reality. Plus.. well, I'm a... blah, blah, blah, male. I think my dreams would probably not be so good. I'm too much of a perv for that." He stood, and stretched again. Before, laying out on a few of the spare cushions next to Mercury.

Mikel stared up at the clear sky. Stars adorned it like embroidered jewels on dark-wash jeans. "The stars look interesting tonight. I wonder what they would taste like. Granted we could eat them..." Mikel closed his eyes. It was quiet for a moment. Then it started again; first the forest, shiny and wet. It was as if there was a camera man, and he couldn't keep the angle straight because he was slipping in the mud. Mikel scrunched his face. The sky lit up for a moment, then it was gone. Everything he'd just seen was gone. Another vision. He opened his eyes and kept his gaze on the sky, wondering if Mercury had noticed anything; hoping she hadn't.

Mercury yawned, slowly crawling towards the edge of the table where Mikel had gotten his book. She stopped half way out, and lied there with her head resting on her arms, which were folded on the ground. Watching with lazy interest, she waited for him to put the book down.

As Mikel finish reading, she rolled over and commented, "Man, you read a lot. Doubt I could pay attention for tha' long... Izzit real interestin' or what?"

Ahhh! It wouldn't go away, it won't, and it probably never would. Mikel's left ear twitched. It's twitched for the past two days; gradually fading, then coming back full force. He bent his long ear down more towards his face, and scratched it. Compulsively, he pulled on his ear. The light brown fur matched the color of his curly locks, a treasured piece of his body that was now surpassing his shoulder blades. His hair was currently caught between the chair he was lounging in and his muscular back.

He leaned forward, pulling his hair to rest on his shoulders. He leaned forward, settling into a sitting crouch in the chair, forearms rested upon his knee. He brought his other hand up to his mouth, and began chewing on his nails. He sat like that for a moment, before disturbed by a stirring beneath the table. He shifted so he could see under. Upon a pile of cushions, for there were many around, on, and under the long tea table, rested the small body of the Doormouse.

Her chest rose and fell in the rhythmic motion of breath. He smiled, and lightly ruffled her hair, before bending and giving her a kiss upon the tip of her ear. He stood after that, and walked to the end of the table. Beneath a small stack of multicolored plates, some napkins, and a teacup or two, was a novel of his. Mikel pulled it out, and opened to the page he'd left off on.

"Her body was lush, and it drove him wild. She moved like water, flowed from one place to another. John loved this girl, his waitress, and he didn't even know her. She tossed her dark chocolate curls, and smiled at the customer she currently waited on. John couldn't remove his eye from her sculpted legs..."

Mikel dived into the book, engrossed by his reading, he noticed not as the sun burned down the horizon. It was nearly dark,as the pages turned, and soon he was wrapping up the last paragraph. He yawned, and pulled out of his naughty world. Leaning against the back of the tree, Mikel watched the sun finish setting up a new day somewhere else in the world.
