mckenzie says, "where do i even begin with jake? alright, so, our parents have been best friends for pretty much forever and i've been best friends with his sisters since we were babies. i guess i never really got to know jake when we were younger. i was always hanging out with mattie and hollywood, but he was a boy and they had cooties, so why would i be with him? he had his own friends anyway. it wasn't until middle school or something that we actually started talking. we weren't exactly friends, but we knew each other and had mutual friends and hung out together and stuff. we got a lot closer when we got to high school and would hang out all the time in groups and even sometimes just ourselves. i developed this monumental crush on him, but i figured nothing would ever happen from it. i mean, i'd had a few boyfriends before, but i could not flirt to save my life so i just sort of tried to hide it to make it not awkward, though, like, everyone knew, so that didn't work out all that well. so, it turned out he kinda had a crush on me too, so we started going out. the only problem was, we were so different and still so young, so we fought a lot. not to mention, i was a bit clingy back then and he was always running off to do acting things. i mean, i had my music, but a lot of times he wasn't there to see me perform, and maybe i was really selfish, but it hurt. anyway, once we realized that we had really strong feelings for each other and matured a bit more, we had a very solid relationship, even with both of our really busy schedules. i was completely in love and he must have been too because he proposed. i was always into weddings and had been picturing different things since i was a little girl and i went all out. i was so excited and jake and mattie had to keep me from inviting the entire world. the food for that would be ridiculous. so, we've been very happy since we've been married, and now i've almost graduated from ucla and my singing career is going well, as well as his acting career. i'm just so happy. i feel so lucky to have found the love of my life so early and i would change anything about him or us for anything in the world."

jakob says, "you know that girl in high school who's disgustingly sexy but you have no idea why? that was my initial impression when i first saw mckenzie. and i don't mean saw like saw, i mean like saw. make sense? i didn't really think so. you see, kenzie and i go way back. our parents were not only costars when they were our age but best friends, so it's kind of obvious we'd know each other as kids. i personally, didn't really know kenz until sometime around eighth grade but her, hollywood and mattie were always hanging out together. so i guess you could say we were acquaintances as children. you know, until i discovered how friggin' sexy this girl was. hence the whole 'didn't realize how sexy she was until i actually saw her' thing. so by the time i was a junior in high school, i finally got around to asking her out and as it turned out, she'd had this secret crush on me? so i guess you could say it was kind of perfect. the two of us dated for a while, mostly on and off considering my hectic work schedule and the immature fights we'd get into. what we'd fight about, i don't remember - but i do remember several arguments regarding me leaving every weekend. and stuff involving me failing to call her in between connecting flights. which i still tease her about to this day. anyways, the two of us finally decided that enough was enough and we started dating for real - no stupid breakups, no fights, no on-and-off dating. and surprisingly, it all worked out. in fact, the entire school ate it up. and before i knew it, we were out of high school, i'd proposed and we were setting the date for our wedding -- which was a mere nine months later. normally, you'd think that was a little early for a wedding. planning takes forever, after all - food, colors, dresses, tuxes, the whole bit. but i guess that myth about girls fantasizing about their wedding is actually true? because i swear, mckenzie, holly and mattie only got together to plan five times before the wedding cake was ordered, the dresses were on their way and the flower colors were being debated between purple and white. but regardless of how quickly we jumped from being engaged to sharing a last name, it all unfolded perfectly. and i guess all i can say now is that there’s nothing about my relationship with kenzie that i regret. and that i’ve gotta be, hands down, the luckiest guy on the planet.”

mattie says, "jakob, wow this guy is such a loser. nah, i'm kidding i love this boy. after all, he is my brother, my sometimes annoying older brother but still family. and he's always been there for me so it would be hard to any negative feelings towards him. he was actually the first person i went to when i found out i was pregnant. i know, weird considering that holly is my go to person for everything. but i guess i needed a guys perspective on things before anyone elses. he's always been there to look out for me and the est of our siblings, and i'm very grateful for that. in high school there were a few good situations he had to get me out of. one time i ended up in jail with a few others because i got busted at some overly wild party. no one knows about that night except for him. as well as that there are some other secrets that he knows that my own twin doesn't. the only time he ever really got annoying beyond belief was when joshua and started to go out. i don't know why but he never liked the guy that much, then again if you were around to witness our relationship back then.. anyways, he's also great when it comes to austen and caleb, so i often stick him and kenzie with the boys if holly isn't available and both josh and i are busy. i'm still waiting for the day he gets that girl knocked up, you can really tell how wonderful they both are with kids. well i think i'm going to end this here before i continue and write a page of a novel."

joshua says, "jakob? well, he is downright ugly. haha. now, he's my girlfriend's brother so well, i cant do shit. haha. nah. he's not ugly. he's got a wife so how can he? i met this guy the same time i met mattie. around freshman year. i'd say me and him. we didnt really get to a good start in highschool due to our basketball rivalries but yeah. he was the hot shot while i was just this other guy on the team. you know what i mean but i mean mattie brought us together hoping it would be solved and it did. sorta. hahah. now i trust this guy with my life and well, thats completely rare. he became like my brother and someday, hopefully, he will become my brother-in-law...if you know what i mean. he's always telling me to propose to her but well, haha, fate proved otherwise. hah.the funny thing is that we love to relive the high school days and well, we would always have these one-on-one basketball matches every weeked without the girls knowing and it would be fun. guys night out. he watches my back and i watch his so i guess we're closer than you think. hahaha."

jakob says, "man did this dude irk me in high school. while he was dating mattie, at least. or.. rather, not dating her? i guess you could say my protective side took over and i automatically went into big brother mode. and i kinda hated the guy for a while. not to mention the whole basketball rivalry thing. with the help of mattie and, you know, those two little boys i look after, i guess you could say josh and i are sort of best friends now. you know, kinda. because i still don't see what my sister sees in him. okay, KIDDING. he's actually an incredibly cool guy when you actually get to know him - through ridiculous one on one basketball matches at the local park and lame beer soda pong with me, him, caleb and austen, it didn't take long for the two of us to reach best friend status. and now i guess we could call each other our 'go to guy' when we either need advice or a little testosterone boost after spending the day with mattie, holly or kenz. as for what's going on between him and mattie? proposals have been spoken of. whether or not he's going to do it, i really don't know - i've tried to convince him into going ahead and just popping the question but i have yet to receive a yippy, squealing phone calls from mattie announcing that she'll soon be mrs. joshua murray. so.. i don't really know what's going on in that department? i guess we'll just have to see. i've got a feeling the two of us will soon hold the title of brother in laws, though. it's only a matter of time.."

rebecca says, “okay, so, if there were ever a reason for me going to hell, it would be jakob lafferty. i’ve been flirting with this kid since i was… i dunno, sixteen? we met at my second solo event and he was this cool and confident – a little cocky, but that never hurt anyone – nineteen year old who was willing to show me the ropes. the chances of me turning that down? basically slim to none. and slim just left, so there ya’ go. afterwards, we didn’t really see each other again out side of the occasional phone call and those age old, ‘my god, we have to meet for lunch!’ moments, when you make the plans but then you just never end up doing it. if you can believe it, the next time we saw each other in person was an entire year later. i was rather proud of myself that time because it seemed as if i shocked him with my sudden red carpet savvy-ness. i guess he’s another ‘celebrity’ who likes to ignore all the papers and such or else he would have seen the pictures. but hey, i’m not holding it against him, cause it’s a lifestyle choice. anywho. we ended up hanging out together after the event that night and though the details are a little hazy, i remember drinking. and lots of talking with this kid. by talking i obviously mean flirting and he flirted back. which was a bad move on his part, because he had a girlfriend. and even if he didn’t go any further than flirting, doesn’t that still count? it should, i think. wonder if she knows. eh. that’s where the details start to get a little hazy because, of course, we were drinking the entire time. i just know that i woke up in my bed the next day and i assumed he’d had a hand in that because there was no raging phone call from my mother or anything. i think i might owe him one for that. anyway, i hear that he’s married now but i honestly couldn’t care less. i still take every opportunity i have to flirt with him or, at the very least, make him feel rather uncomfortable. i must say that i have been impressed with how good he is at not cracking. it’s admirable, here in hollywood. well, anywhere, really. but especially here in hollywood. anyway. apparently he has convinced himself that no matter how much i try he’s never going to cast a glance my way. well, i have news for you, mr. lafferty, you haven’t seen how hard i can push.”

jakob says, "rebecca ventimilgia. i guess you could say we have quite an interesting relationship going on? i guess the beginning would be a good place to start. see, i met becca at a movie premire a million years ago. or, you know, when she was sixteen and i was nineteen. we started talking and what not and i was informed that it was only the second event she'd ever attended. so i figured i'd give her a few pointers when it came to paparazzi and answering questions - you know, show her the ropes. after the event, we kept in touch and all that but i didn't see her until later on in the year at yet another movie premire. and i guess you could say she was different. very different. it was like she'd been going to these things her entire life - taking pictures, strutting the red carpet like she'd been gracing it with her presence since she was just a toddler. we caught up and agreed to grab a few drinks afterwards and thats when things started getting weird. she just started.. coming onto me? the thing was, i was dating mckenzie. and well, i'd flirt back but i wasn't about to start doing body shots off the girl or anything. so after a good hour and a half of attempted manipulation on her part, i offered to bring her home. in a drunken state, she didn't agree, so i stood up, picked her up from her bar stool and took her home. after making sure she was safe and sound, i left. ever since then.. i don't know. things are just weird. despite my married status, it doesn't really seem like she's about to give up this flirting thing anytime soon. she's a cute girl and all but her personality isn't the greatest. so i'll hang out with her from time to time but as soon as things start getting weird, i usually make up some crappy excuse and leave before she can sink her claws in. why i keep coming back? i don't know. i just know nothing's going to go past this odd love/hate relationship we've got going. not matter how hard she tries."

mattie says, "jakob, wow this guy is such a loser. nah, i'm kidding i love this boy. after all, he is my brother, my sometimes annoying older brother but still family. and he's always been there for me so it would be hard to any negative feelings towards him. he was actually the first person i went to when i found out i was pregnant. i know, weird considering that holly is my go to person for everything. but i guess i needed a guys perspective on things before anyone elses. he's always been there to look out for me and the est of our siblings, and i'm very grateful for that. in high school there were a few good situations he had to get me out of. one time i ended up in jail with a few others because i got busted at some overly wild party. no one knows about that night except for him. as well as that there are some other secrets that he knows that my own twin doesn't. the only time he ever really got annoying beyond belief was when joshua and started to go out. i don't know why but he never liked the guy that much, then again if you were around to witness our relationship back then.. anyways, he's also great when it comes to austen and caleb, so i often stick him and kenzie with the boys if holly isn't available and both josh and i are busy. i'm still waiting for the day he gets that girl knocked up, you can really tell how wonderful they both are with kids. well i think i'm going to end this here before i continue and write a page of a novel."

rebecca says, “okay, so, if there were ever a reason for me going to hell, it would be jakob lafferty. i’ve been flirting with this kid since i was… i dunno, sixteen? we met at my second solo event and he was this cool and confident – a little cocky, but that never hurt anyone – nineteen year old who was willing to show me the ropes. the chances of me turning that down? basically slim to none. and slim just left, so there ya’ go. afterwards, we didn’t really see each other again out side of the occasional phone call and those age old, ‘my god, we have to meet for lunch!’ moments, when you make the plans but then you just never end up doing it. if you can believe it, the next time we saw each other in person was an entire year later. i was rather proud of myself that time because it seemed as if i shocked him with my sudden red carpet savvy-ness. i guess he’s another ‘celebrity’ who likes to ignore all the papers and such or else he would have seen the pictures. but hey, i’m not holding it against him, cause it’s a lifestyle choice. anywho. we ended up hanging out together after the event that night and though the details are a little hazy, i remember drinking. and lots of talking with this kid. by talking i obviously mean flirting and he flirted back. which was a bad move on his part, because he had a girlfriend. and even if he didn’t go any further than flirting, doesn’t that still count? it should, i think. wonder if she knows. eh. that’s where the details start to get a little hazy because, of course, we were drinking the entire time. i just know that i woke up in my bed the next day and i assumed he’d had a hand in that because there was no raging phone call from my mother or anything. i think i might owe him one for that. anyway, i hear that he’s married now but i honestly couldn’t care less. i still take every opportunity i have to flirt with him or, at the very least, make him feel rather uncomfortable. i must say that i have been impressed with how good he is at not cracking. it’s admirable, here in hollywood. well, anywhere, really. but especially here in hollywood. anyway. apparently he has convinced himself that no matter how much i try he’s never going to cast a glance my way. well, i have news for you, mr. lafferty, you haven’t seen how hard i can push.”

jakob says, "rebecca ventimilgia. i guess you could say we have quite an interesting relationship going on? i guess the beginning would be a good place to start. see, i met becca at a movie premire a million years ago. or, you know, when she was sixteen and i was nineteen. we started talking and what not and i was informed that it was only the second event she'd ever attended. so i figured i'd give her a few pointers when it came to paparazzi and answering questions - you know, show her the ropes. after the event, we kept in touch and all that but i didn't see her until later on in the year at yet another movie premire. and i guess you could say she was different. very different. it was like she'd been going to these things her entire life - taking pictures, strutting the red carpet like she'd been gracing it with her presence since she was just a toddler. we caught up and agreed to grab a few drinks afterwards and thats when things started getting weird. she just started.. coming onto me? the thing was, i was dating mckenzie. and well, i'd flirt back but i wasn't about to start doing body shots off the girl or anything. so after a good hour and a half of attempted manipulation on her part, i offered to bring her home. in a drunken state, she didn't agree, so i stood up, picked her up from her bar stool and took her home. after making sure she was safe and sound, i left. ever since then.. i don't know. things are just weird. despite my married status, it doesn't really seem like she's about to give up this flirting thing anytime soon. she's a cute girl and all but her personality isn't the greatest. so i'll hang out with her from time to time but as soon as things start getting weird, i usually make up some crappy excuse and leave before she can sink her claws in. why i keep coming back? i don't know. i just know nothing's going to go past this odd love/hate relationship we've got going. not matter how hard she tries."
