Dear Applicant,
Thank you for your interest in
Branstone University. We are pleased to inform you that you have been unconditionally accepted to the course starting in September 2008.
Branstone University is a strong establishment dating back to the early twentieth century. Since it was created and opened to the public, Branstone has played host to over 50,000 students, from a variety of different countries and ethnic backgrounds. Branstone is a global community, extending links even past graduation.
Branstone’s graduate employment rate is second only to Oxford and Cambridge Universities. Our small team of dedicated and friendly staff mean that our students get the most out of their degrees, including the chance to learn some valuable life skills that can enhance every aspect of your post-Branstone life.
And despite the sheer number of students one would expect on a campus like Branstone, the student: staff ratio is unique small – one lecturer: 10 students. This means that you do not ever feel lost in a crowd at Branstone as there will always be someone on hand to talk to. On top of this, Branstone’s largest lecture hall, in the Branson Business Institute, accommodates 150 students. All seminar groups contain a maximum of 15 students.
Branstone University was created right in the very heart of Branstone town, Suffolk. Juxtaposed with the quiet surrounding countryside, Branstone has grown to involve the university more fully and so has developed a more active social atmosphere, including the opening of new clubs, pubs and a cinema. Branstone takes pride in its students.
The 2007 National University Poll voted Branstone in the top five universities in the country, after Oxford, Cambridge and Buckingham. Branstone University was voted top of the poll for student life and overall student happiness. The Times University Supplement has also reviewed Branstone favourably, saying that the university is “a quaint little community in the heart of the town” and that “more universities should be like Buckingham and Branstone; small, friendly, approachable.”
Enclosed also with this acceptance letter is an
accommodation application form and a
copy of the university guidelines for your perusal. If you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate in phoning our campus office on 01363 668312 between 9am and 5pm daily.
We look forward to seeing you in September.
Sincerely,
Alexandra J Warne,
Vice-Chancellor, Branstone University
