The night had been little more than the occasional spook from some creature skittering around near the grave sites. The muscles in his arm were tense with a burn lacing through the tissue that had him wincing upon opening the door that would lead him to a comforting environment. There was almost no one inside of the building and a content sigh dropped from the male’s lips as her perused through the sections without any real need for material to look into. He got a glimmer of hatred from the man at the front desk and answered it with a smirk and a salute. Lucas was almost always found here or the graveyard, maybe home it was an odd existence that he led. He hadn’t found that thing to strive for. He found everyone else’s drives but didn’t much care for such articles. As he moved away from the previous encounter’s emotions he felt his own once more flood inwards. Keys twirling in his hand that started the engine of an old street bike on it’s last leg and far too dangerous to drive, but was, of course.

He dropped to the floor in an aisle containing poetry thumbing through a copy of Dante’s inferno he watched the words rise from the page and quiver in front of him. This caused his gaze to slam shut as the room felt like it’d tip sideways and spill him and all the contents to hell as the book spoke of. Every once in awhile he had the unfortunate connection with someone’s memories that had latched on to some object or snother. Whoever had read the book felt pain, pain and loss and it was the kind that caused a burn tickling the back of his throat as if he’d vomit.

The night had yet to prove for anything more than a normal night; he needed a bit more spontaneity something to prove he was supposed to be here. He’d drifted so much in life it was just odd that he should remain in New Orleans but it promised excitement and his skin itched at the thought.

Night fall came so quickly around a town like this, moving around everyone with that dreary feeling that dwelled within them all; lurking over their heads in sheer surprise. It was something that Blair found a bit disturbing at the mere fact that it seemed to sneak up on people before you even know that it hit you. Uneventful; that would be the word that could have described her night. Not finding work was something that bothered, or maybe she just found herself not wanting to look that hard. Down time was something that the twin needed, desired; finally letting herself do just that as soft footsteps carried over the pavement beneath her feet. Walking seemed to be something that aided the young hunter in clearing her mind. Yes, she loved that car. Her baby, and she would kill over it, but tonight called for a bit of difference.

Arms shifted within the light weight leather that covered her torso, noting the faint chill in the air as the wind swept over her before finding herself stilling in her steps. Breathing out, her head seemed to incline to that faint glow of the cresent that dangled freely from the sky. There was always something about the moon that Blair found fascinating; ya know, besides the faint that it aided a few select's fate. Those .. were a different story. Her head shook then, the mere thought of hunting skidding through her mind like a time bomb ready to implode on itself. It was then, that she cleared her mind, willing any thoughts or memories of her occupation to cease. At least for a little while.

It wasn't long before she found herself at her destination - the library. She wasn't sure why she was here, considering the fact that she would probably end up reading over something that lacked information in. It's inevitable. Bright blues seemed to roll backwards as elegant fingers gripped the handle of the door before her. Books. They were everywhere, but seriously lacked the presence of people. Full lips pressed for a moment, her head nodding a bit at the gentlemen at the desk before proceding to an unknown destination. A soft breath flowed even, teeth nipping a bit at the tender flesh of her bottom lip before she found herself in the history of witchcraft. Even as a small child, before the evidence of everything that she feared so long along was real, she had this interest in the mere fact of witches. The mere existence of them. Fingers danced over the spine, scooping it up into her grasp before long limbs carried her around the case. It wasn't long before she found herself stopping at the presence of the man along the floor, eyes closed. Debating, she slowly took a step forward, bending a bit before a hand was lightly placed on his shoulder, Are you alright? Her voice was soft, light as she fought the emotions that she had been struggling with for so long into a place where she hoped they would never find the light again.

The book had proved as useless as one such as himself could find it; even with his limited access to the supernatural crawling about New Orleans. However, the strange reaction to the book had kept him puzzled for a few constricted moments of silence. His mother had always told him to wear gloves, no skin to skin contact and all that jazz. This had proved to be most useless advice by the time he'd reached the age certified as an adult being. He started picking up emotions when in the room at first in large doses without knowing the person to whom they belonged; slowly he picked up on te distinct taste of emotions vi gender and from there broke it down to singular cases.

Now and again he'd be hit with an emotion so hard that he'd stumble into flashes of past memories. It was starting to worry him the frequency to which such cases occurred, this book proving to be one of the more unnerving aspects. This thought didn't last much longer then the hand gently touching his shoulder to which a shock rang out in his system. He hadn't even heard her walk towards him let alone the shift of body weight to lean forward and lastly the words that gingerly touched his awareness. He glanced up at her as if through a fog a slight nod as he read her like an open book the words resting in his hands instead of the leafed pages. He felt disappointment, worry, a type of longing he couldn't place and an undercurrent of someone who deserved to be doing so much better. "Wonderful." he managed foggy eyes replacing with a piercing blue that fit the empathic powers couring behind them.

He made small notes of her appearance and a smirk laced onto his lips, "Better now..?" he groped for a name pretending her couldn't almost feel it rubbing against the feelings he'd picked up. Once you learned that every sadness was a different one, joy, calm all of it unique and woven into a pattern you learned far more about the individual. She wasn't just pretty no, she was the type of girl every guy noticed and pretended she was untouchable. Or decidedly called her a bitch in hopes of repairing their ego; well Lucas had no need to nurse an ego and he'd never had a problem with being awed. He stood slowly glancing at the hand touching his shoulder providing an even deeper look under the skin and more to her heart then anything else. Lifting the opposite hand he offered his own a large smile spreading. Oh yes, he was always confused and lost but he could always mange a more then truthful smile, "Lucas."

A faint film of concern doused her features once the feeling that something was wrong with the man, considering the stoic way that he just sat there. It was almost something of concentration or dwelled within the tiredness that lingered over everyone who found themselves in a hunter's profession. Something that would cause tiredness to pull at weakened, dull muscles that ached at the slightest of wrong movements. Twisting, knoting and seemingly tugging away from the bone that secured it in place. Watching him, eyes narrowed a twinge at the moment of her presence. Eyes poured down into his own, taking in the shocking blues as she noted the nod of his head. Wonderful? He must have just moved here. Catching the shift over the brim of the literature, the sadness that danced within those shocking eyes started to get to her before his voice rung out again. Straightening, she stood at her full height as he did before the smirk was noted in such fine accounts.

There weren't many men that she found in New Orleans that still held that expression. Twisting, contortment of features that would twist in such a way to cause the smirk; the faint twinge of mischief that was usually carried carefully along with the spur of emotion. Full lips pressed as she got a better look at him, the familiarity, but she caught herself keeping quiet at moments such as these. You never knew who you could|would run into in this lovely city. Werewolves. Vampires. Demons. Other hunters. Hunters were piling into town like locusts, knowing the full reason considering the air rang with the taste of the Apocalypse.

A faint smile danced at her lips then, head shaking before she slowly removed the hand that was still present along his shoulder. A faint form of embarassment settled over her cheeks, rosey and warm to the softest touch before taking the hand that was offered, Blair, and I'm glad that I could make it better. Playful, her tone transformed into something that she hadn't portrayed in awhile, swallowing at the notice of her old self. Full lips pressed then, having already shaken his hand and returning it back as blues continued to dance over him, Why do I get the feeling that you're new around here?

She seemed extensively quiet and a bit of an observer as he awaited her response to his calm greeting. Lucas had a mixture of mood swings but he attempted everything to be calm; at the very least empty with a smile for proof of his lacking of self. Today had been an unsettling deceiving day though the man had become all too well acquainted with such off days. as she spoke he whittled another smile and borrowed some of the perk from the couple a few aisle's down.It made the look extremely convincing and it felt as if he need not be present to pull off the display. "New? Yes, well somewhat.I needed a change..and yourself?" he question turning to replace the book he'd been reading but a few moments earlier. His fingertips danced lightly against the top of his thigh trying to maintain the bubble of power around himself so as not to reflect the current emotional turmoil in the female.

"Blair, beautiful name." he had a habit of making small little comments like this depending on the situation and company. As of right now she was displaying a kind motive towards him despite the throng of exhaustion washing over her form. "Mind if we sit? I feel like a chat and I'm a dash tired." he wasn't, but she was. He could almost taste the lack of rest swimming in her eyes and crawling over his own skin.

"I came here for a bit of an adventure you could say." he dropped a more truthful and comforting smile as he weaved his way to the soft cushy chairs rarley anyone used these days. Who had time to hang out here when the big bad world was going down in flames.

Eyes continued to dance over his features, listening to him before her gaze dropped to the book within her grasp. The spine in full view, arms moved in a shifting matter to hide the subject of the matter. In her eyes, it wasn't anyone's busy of what her concerns were while within foundations such as the library. Yes, she could have been a student studying up on her history of witchery, but was that ever the case; in New Orleans of all places where the devil himself walked the same streets as everything else. No. A faint sigh of breath slipped out beneath full lips then, trying to find the twinge of exhaustion that seemed to linger over her form, pooling within what used to be vibrant blues. Blues that were probably as dull as one of the few unused crayons of a child's choosing. Sleep. It wasn't her friend. Not now, anyway. Ther was way too much going on, and she wasn't about to miss anything .. if something was going down she was going to make sure that she was apart of it; no questions asked.

His comment of change caught her attention, her head tilted a bit with a slight tug at the corners of her lips, Change, huh? I know exactly what you mean. Her head nodded then, licking at dry lips, Me? Uh - been here for a little over a year, actually. Thoughts surged through her mind then, knowing that she was going to get a question about that one. It was always curiosity that roamed around these parts, wanting to know who people were .. what they were. Eyes narrowed, only slightly, at the comment of her name, Thanks. Her voice was a bit hesitant, and she couldn't help but wonder what the hesitancy was for.

Moving, she followed behind him before they finally arrived at the chairs before she found her form slowly lowering and smiling a bit at his comment of adventure, Adventure? Definitely had heard that as a reason .. from anyone, actually. Her smile seemed to grow, a faint chuckle evading her lips before pressing, Well, its ... definitely interesting. You definitely have to the right place .. especially if you're an adrenaline junkie. Most of the people that seemed to flow there were adrenaline junkies. Those hunters that wanted a thrill while tracking, taking their claim with one clean swoop. What do you do, Lucas? She had to ask, it was burning at the tip of her tongue .. besides the answer that usually came from people's mouths around this place was a lie anyway.

He reclined in the soft leather as it creaked somewhat beneath the shift in weight; she was starting to relax and he was enjoying the warmth of the new emotion. Her sorrow still lapped like waves as the tide rolls out tempting to hit but always falling just short, but always there. His arms rose to clasp hands behind his head; his legs stretching out only to cross over his knee as if at home or at the beach. He was never truly settled, never truly high strung but wavering the thin line of permissible company and white jacket fiend. He nodded at her comment of change ans closed his eyes as he allowed the tone to wash over his senses. Being an empath wasn't as helpful as glimpsing into anyone's mind; you were gaining maybe one third of the entire puzzle. "I think i'll never get enough change. I could do without my normal atmosphere all the time." a grin sparked on his lips as he drew another smile to the surface of his features.

"A year huh? Where were you before that?" he questioned leaning forward slightly as if suddenly highly interested in her life. Which he was but to waht degree even he didn't know; just knew that some part of him, or someone else was interested in whatever the female had to say. The rest of him needed to know so he could shift through her feelings and better equate to the balance needed to be in her presence without becoming a mirrored image of the thoughts she kept hidden from the word. When he was younger being around any female was a massive no in his book; too many hormones all at once was not something he looked forward to as a man.

"Yup Adventure and I don't know if it's so much the place as the time but so far my days have been lovely voids of boredom and lack of any type of stimulation aside from graveyard dirt going missing." he gave a shrug as she asked about his job and understood what she was really asking. "Mh, I dig graves, mostly. I'm supposed to be assisting the more, well, ability to process oxygen people...but I haven't done much in that department. See I'm a bit of a freak myself but even freaks need a cash flow....How about you Blair? What do you do in this fine city?" his voice was even toned and was normally kept at this level it was hard to be anything but with fear of hitching onto someone elses wave, you got lost when you weren't neutral. It was almost painful to want to be fully involved in a conversation only to realize you can't, not unless people knew, and if they did it'd be far to easy to take advantage of. No, his station couldn't allow such risks.

Arms rested comfortably against the cushions of the chair, the book that she had chosen not five minutes before was resting beneath herself and the chair; making sure that it was out of eye sight. There were books that some people wanted to read, wanted to know about, but would always hide the fact of what the contents contained, and this was one of those cases, considering the contents could make someone a little too curious about the hunter. And, everyone know that curiosity killed the cat. It wasn't too much different for people who wanted to put their noses where they didn't belong. No, she wouldn't kill someone for trying to figure out what interested her. It wasn't in her nature, but it always did make things difficult considering the possibilities of what the person really was. Creature. Demon. There was always something out there ready to pounce, Blair was well aware of the fact and had the scars to prove it, unfortunately.

A leg slowly crossed the other, sparking blues watching the man before her. It was a bit obvious that he was comfortable in his own skin, not really worrying about what others thought and possibly had to say to him. A free spirit, if you will. Blair couldn't help but watch him, the smiles that he offered were contagious and she found herself eating them up one by one; her own smile surfacing with a bought of relief in the process. There was something about the man that calmed her, brought her to an element that she hadn't experienced in such a long time. Something that she found herself needing on a day to day basis, but not being able to find it anythere, considering the situations that loomed over her head. Something that she knew would probably never cease, but hoped to God that it would bury itself deep beneath the rubbage much like many of the other things that had damaged the woman in a slow, drawn out process.

Eyes narrowed faintly at the sheer interest that seemed to surge through him then, watching as he found himself leaning forward to return the question, Well, before that .. I was traveling. She left it at that, having the feeling that you could trust someone was different in the efforts of actually being able to. She didn't know much about the man, actually she didn't know much at all. Five minutes in a library wasn't really enough time to get information that allowed for the trusted stage. No, she knew his name and his occupation .. that was it. You could say that I was looking for adventure myself. A crack of a smile broke forth then, before finding the happiness cease, And, boy, did I find it. The statement was muttered, knowing that it wouldn't have been in ear shot of anyone or anything, considering not really wanting to answer the question that would always follow a statement such as that.

You're a grave digger? A faint shock coated those shocking blues, not really getting that vibe off the man. Don't get me wrong .. I'm not downing your occupation. You just .. don't seem the type. It's usually some older guy is isn't exactly attractive digging graves. A faint smirk caught her lips then, clearing her throat a moment later as another question was thrown back at her, What do I do? I don't really have a steady job. I do what comes along. Ya know, like saving people from evil .. while gambling and credit card fraud brings in the money for me. Would you tell someone that? I didn't think so.

It wasn't that he didn't believe her but her could fish out the apprehension, faint, but there all the same to him. He inhaled with a measured breath as if drinking in too much of her aura would knock him out cold; he had the slightest idea that the sensation was rateable to ingesting chloroform. The drug never worked as quickly in the movies oh no, it left you dazed and confused until passing out seemed more reasonable then life threatening. Blair was becoming this subconscious duller of his free will. Not that Lucas ever toted around much of such a thing but he knew when it was giving in to the brink of unreasonable acceptance.

She was calm if he shot off the emotion in just the right angle and her smiles allowed him to exude the emotion more freely. As a fire roars when the slights breeze skipping over Lucas found the same enhancement from hidden pockets of truth. They were air bubbles in his fish tank that he followed and chased as if it would open some big secret door and he'd be, well, free. She gave that glint of hope, freedom, even if he got the strange sensation she was far from the fact.

"Where'd you travel? I've been around any well known places?" conversation he either ruled it or vanished under pretense it depended on the company; so far he was afloat in his little raft of self imposed acceptance. "Excuse me but I find my job rather wonderful, and maybe I am old mh?" now he was teasing her she had to be some kind of hunter, something that knew more then she let on. So he'd lead her around guessing as to what he was and watch her miss every mark. He wasn't a brand a person would select on a whim, no, he was that type of cereal everyone but a choice few loved. 'you're good at this game." he finally iterated sinking onto the chair eyes slipping closed to block out the shine of her pretty blues. If she wanted to be vague then he could do the same, so, there.

Memories scattered over her past, the happenings of her childhood .. before everything went hell; quite literally. Working on cars, well .. trying to when her Father would be roaming around the back yard in the garage where Blair wasn't too far behind. A daddy's girl wouldn't be the half of it, considering if her Father went some where, Blair usually wasn't too far behind. In the passenger seat, at his side or over by the tool box waiting on a tool to be handed over to place back with care. A soft smile settled over full lips, sentimental value there as the child like happiness lite up those shiny blues before dulling an instance later. It never did take long for Blair to remember the tragedy that completely turned her life upside down, inside out and every which way. It was something that she could never forget; wouldn't forget.

It was moments such as these that Blair found herself vulnerable, trapping the weakness beneath everything and burying it that much more as she forced the light back into eyes that would have seemed lifeless to those select few that could actually read her. Something that she found she hated about the people that knew her; the real her. The Blair that was once vibrant, playful and lacked the whole 'everything's going to hell in a hay basket.' It was the truth. She knew it. Everybody else knew it. Well, those that actually wanted to look at the signs as the world slowly fell down around them; crumbling at their feet without any kind of a warning.

Her attention was pulled back then, his voice urging her gaze that had fallen to the floor to softly reach the distance of his own, A little bit of everywhere, really. Nowhere out of the country .. but, yeah. A faint smile tugged there, one that was coaxed there, maybe for just the fact of smiling. Sadness was something that found residence in Blair, hosting itself deep within her soul as memories crept up on her once more. A light clearing of her throat sounded then, before a chuckled broke forth at the tease, Old, huh? Let me guess .. you're one of those highlanders that carries a sword around. Old as hell, but looks around twenty. A full smile broke out then, eyes narrowing faintly a moment later as she started wondering if actually was an immortal. Blues only narrowed further at his next comment, her head tilted, And, what game would that be?

A sigh filtered through the man’s lips as fingers pressed together and relaxed just under his chin. He surveyed her the way a cat might watch the much larger dog creeping around it’s territory. Perhaps said animal would lose but there was something about the deadly interception that kept him glued to the spot. “Perhaps you’re the one with the sword?” he quipped, a smile filtering onto his face. He kept his focus on those drowning blues of hers; any other lesser fool might have been long gone but he treaded the surface. It felt odd to shift through the underlying meanings in everything she said, everything she felt. She was a different person inside he could tell that much. Not that such a realization was a bad thing but it made him question her lifestyle and what she dealt with to fall into such depression.

Perhaps it wasn’t as constant as it felt now but that was beside the point now wasn’t it? “I’m talking about the game where we pretend life is made up of small talk and breezy answers that will leave a man groaning under the annoyance of getting nowhere mh?” he rose to his feet arching his back to relax the nerve that had been twitching against his spine. “What is a beautiful girl like you doing out late at some Library huh? Maybe I should be more worried about you then myself..” he trailed off moving to snag a book on dreams. “Blair was it? What do you dream about?” he questioned glancing up from his book to drop a light smile that hid all the undercurrents of his questions.

He was doing his best not to be that creepy guy you wanted to run away from but part of his personality was invasive. He was a chaser, at times an odd follower who rebelled even while doing what told. He was a mutt to some degrees perfectly content in others. “I get the feeling it’s of oceans…something hm…” his hand clenched in his pocket as he tried to remain in his own shell ah the life of perpetual invasions.

There was something about this man that seemed so familiar, yet so distant at the same time. It was a wonder of how she was able to feel still from proding the man with questions. Mannerisms. It was something that so many people held, filtering through their bodies like ticking biological clocks. Something so many people shared and yet so few would dare to mention. Every body went through so many different things and yet people will still compare their actions to be the same. Happines will always bare that glow and sadness that upside down smile .. was there really a difference in any of it? Blair knew that if anything was really dancing through her gaze, it was sadness, depression, desperation - it was something that she had known for a while now, but didn't want to come to the realization. It was a bit hard though, when you look in the mirror and it's cleraly staring back at you with a vengence. Her head lowered then, a faint sigh trickling through parted full lips while she tried to hide something that would probably always show through no matter how hard she tried to hide it. Something that would bother her until she dropped dead from a natural cause or from the likes of something supernatural.

A light smile tracked over full lips though, his comment moving that trail of a faint happiness into her eyes that she hadn't shown in a while. There was something about the man that when she smiled it was actually true, and the mere thought scared her a bit as she glanced back up into his direction, With that she leaned back a bit, watching him as he rose to his feet; a slight fear in her eyes. What in the hell is wrong with you? Fingers trailed through long strands with that, longing to almost find herself in a bed that she knew as her own and hoping for good dreams when she knew none would come. Nightmares. If you wanted to call them that. Ever since she was eighteen those horrid memories haunted her even in her dreams, waking from her dreams in a bout of screams while a faint sheen carried her limbs and hoped that her neighbors didn't wake from her terrified sounds. It wasn't much that scared the hunter, but there would always be something that got to everyone and it seemed that her dreams knew all. Not letting up on her until sleep wasn't her friend.

[color=crimson]Worried about me? I can take care of myself .. don't you worry.
With that her head was rested back agaisnt the back of the chair, eyes on the ceiling while concentrating on his voice and not the thoughts of what would visit her while carried and hoping for sweet dreams. Letting ice blues lower, eyes caught the name of the book that was snatched she couldn't help but snort at his question. Was he psychic? Oceans? I can wish. Her tone darkened a bit with her answer, licking dry lips before she cleared her throat a bvit and leaned slightly, a light smile upon her lips, I dream of candy canes and lollipops, and I'm slightly scared to return the question. A teasing smile scretched across her lips then, watching him before she found herself peering into the direction of the clock.

His head shook tossing a few strands of hair to obscure the ice his eyes declared the later the hour grew, "You're a bad liar. You feel like a bad liar." he replaced the book to its rightful place remaining where he stood fear he might do something rash around this female. She was a rollarcoaster you didn't expect, down in the depths only to jump towards clouds, never making it but trying all the same, tragic, but breath takingly beautiful all the same. "I dream of Graveyards and smoke. Of people, you." the last word should have sounded teasing but it didn't. It hit an edge that was far too intense for the light vibrations there conversation had been carrying earlier. It wasn't really lying because he'd seen her before, but he'd seen most everyone on the earth and he had no doubt she'd sow up more frequently. Once he tapped into an emotional reading it was hard to ever remove the imprint it left, scalding the viewer with the same affinity a third degree burn could sport.

His eyes lowered and he took a more sheepish expression, "But that's not something you want to hear now is it? I dream in colors generally." with that he moved towards her kneeling slightly so he could become eye level. "You should let someone in some time, life raft, all that jazz." his hand reached upwards forward in his awkward representation of sincerity. Fingertips hoovered just above her cheek but never made skin contact; it would knock him flat to his ass if he took a direct reading. With a grunt he felt the frigid temperatures in his palm as they arched up his muscle tissue and deposited into his brain. His eyes blinked rapidly as he in essenceborrowed her sorrow.

He rocked on his heels removing his hand quickly before he took too large of a dose. "You have a good sleep tonight mh?" he wasn't going into explain if she wouldn't ask. She'd feel lighter, gleeful even if she allowed it to hit home that something had been removed from her shoulders. He rose and his icy blues held now a tinge of gray that resembled the arctic ocean, ice bergs floating over the clear water. He wanted to help and this was one of the more quick action things he could do, why, well that was another story now wasn't it.

Sprays of grays peered over within the direction of the ticking clock along the solid white walls. Ticking that seemed to take over the sound that lacked within the foundation. A building that only held a few occupants, considering the time that the night held. Darkness had long since taken over the world outside; coating everything in shadows that dared to hold the luring creatures waiting on prey. Her gaze fell then, roaming over the carpet beneath her feet before his response caught her attention once more. Stilling, she found herself in a stoic state, non-moving before she slowly let her gaze lift to look into his direction. Eyes narrowed faintly into slits, confusion and curiosity raining over her features. I'm not a ... It was then that she refused to finish her statement, considering the fact that she had lied. Usually, being able to slide through the words of lying, but finding it a bit more difficult with a faint trail of sleep deprivation or maybe just in front of this man. Then, his words continued to make features scrunch that much more, Dreaming ... of me? Glancing around, eyes traced over the walls for a moment, a thought hitting her as eyes danced back into his direction.

Empath? I feel like a bad liar? How else could you explain it? It was obvious that gifted people were out there. All she had to do was look at her sister. A woman who could read minds and move objects without lifting a finger. They were out there, in plain sight without you even being under the impression that they even existed. Blair knew better, and then she found herself stilling once more. Remembering what he had said about the dreams that consisted of her. Ice blue eyes shown on him then, watching for a moment with a questioning gaze, What do you - Finding herself stilling once more as he kneeled down to be eye level with that of herself; watching him. Ice blues connected with that of his own, studying him as a hand rose to hover just over her cheek and she glanced around at the emptiness that settled around them before the grunt caught her attention. It was then that she noticed the difference, the lightness that settled over her being. Something that she hadn't felt in such a long time, and she found herself almost dumbfounded as he moved.

Noting the faint gray tint of his eyes now, she found herself on her feet; more curious about the man than ever, You're an empath, aren't you? Her voice soft, barely a whisper in fear of someone that wasn't suppose to hear to take everything in with a quick haste. Why? Why did you do that? You've just met me, and you ... Blair couldn't make herself understand, considering the fact of the broken feelings that always lingered around these parts. Knowing from first hand, considering she was one of those people that dwelled with the others. Sadness and defeat evidently written all over their features.

He stood in his own perpetual silence feeling the movements of his recently borrowed emotions smooth over his skull. It was a sick sense of warmth the further he looked into the sorrow. A fine aged wine whose buttons had been pushed so many times as to remove the labels proclaiming them to the owner. When she spoke his eyes flickered back to her features and he gave a shrug, "Why? When the world can answer even one why without concocting another i'll let you know." his smile was softer now as if he had found peace in some drug of choice. "Time is rather irrelevant as well, whose to say my opinion of you would change the longer I knew you." he began to move towards the exit glancing over his shoulder.

"Would you mind taking a walk?" his eyebrow cocked upwards slightly hands placed deep into his pocket now fearing touch with anything. Once you start taking in emotions it isn't often you stop; he just wasn't in the mood to snatch a bi-polar episode or slip into a seizure epidemic. "Plus you needed it..and shhh with the dropping names, I prefer Lucas over empath, hell even Luke if it floats your boat Blair. " with that a gloved hand slithered outward to push open the door sending in a blast of the outside air. With it his eyes slid shut awaiting to sense if she was moving or not. He wouldn't mind her company most of all because he found himself relating to the depths of her emotions; unfortunately he couldn't tell if it was because of her, or him, that he COULD relate.

Not only did he wonder at that he wondered why he was stalking this poor girl, she hadn't done a thing to him now had she? A smile creased over his lips as he thought over his current train of ideals. No he really had no reason but now he felt the need to stay near her. Something about leaving her alone in such a state would be criminal by a person like him. He would be an accessory to murder in the long run. Lets face it he wouldn't do well in a jail setting, jammed tight with people and anger, he'd kill, and it'd be ugly. "The terms used for the end of your sentence are borrowed, stole, leeched, leeched works wonderfully, your emotions. My apologies."
