Hello kiddies! The title is really self explanatory.. Yeah, you need
to read this stuff. I know it can be a big pain, but I promise I'll
make it quick. Make sure to get everything otherwise the admins
will come after you with sharped with machetes, and trust me ..
you don't want that.
(ACTIVITY)
If you plan to join and ditch then turn your little booty around
right now! Seriously, it's just plain lame when someone joins and
never even submits an application.. In general we're a bit of a freak
when it comes to activity, so don't just think that you can use
this site as a place to go every two weeks when boredom hits!
We want dedicated people, so don't join if you aren't going
to be a committed member. Now I know that a bunch of you
have school, work and actual lives to leave, so I am not going
to demand that you come on every day, but at the very least
a few times a week minimum! Especially if you play a cannon
activity is really important.. Okay, activity is not just logging in, it
is ACTUALLY posting something! OOC or roleplay, I don't really
care.. just post something! Absences. we're really flexible if you
have to go away, as long as you PM an admin or post in the correct
board with a warning, so we're prepared for your momentary absence XD.
(REGISTRATION)
Cookies to you if you sign up! * cough * ahem. Back to business.
When signing up, make sure that you do so with first and
last name with proper capitalization! If you mess it up, just PM an
admin nicely asking for them to change it for you. In the 'a thousand
words' area you will find the application. Fill it out CORRECTLY
and with CARE or we will send hell hounds after you! Nah, just
kidding;P.. but seriously, spend a few extra moments to make your
character interesting and unique. Need help? Ask! Honestly, we
don't bite. Once you have submitted an application, don't PM and
admin about acceptance.Period. Just don't. Give us 48 hours to
get around to it before even thinking it. We all have real lives to lead,
so be patient.PS: You can have as many characters as you want
and can handle. Just don't hog all the canons! And create at least
one guy for every two girls. It sucks when there's like ten males
and fifty females. Keep it even okay?

ust so that you are aware, there will be mature contents on this
site. We don't like to limit members. Plus, it's the end and sex, drugs
and alcohol happens. But PLEASE, please, please be realistic.
I do not under any circumstance want ten pregnant girls running
around and every other boy is addicted to drugs. No way. Now,
about sex. Okay, these need to either fade out or be very very
vague. And really? is that what this is all about? I didn't think so. It is
understandable that some characters need to have relations and
that is totally cool, but please do not be overly descriptive. We all
know how it works and don't need to know .. wow, 'that' went
WHERE?! There are just some things that we don't need to know.

(ROLEPLAY)
We are a pretty literate site, but accept members of just about any
level of experience. Just note that even noobs (newbies XD) can
post at least one decent paragraph! The admins have got hawk
eyes and we will not tolerate one liners or two liners or three liners
etc. One decent [smith] paragraph per rp post. Its not much to ask, so be
nice and use your brains and creativity .. even though more would
be much appreciated! And, please .. please use proper english/grammar
. With that being said use the spell check if you have to. Regarding
chat talk. It's fine in the ooc boards as long as people can actually
understand what it is your are trying to say, but [zachariah] don't use it in
roleplay threads! Period. Also, all rp's are to be written in third person.
It's just really strange when people roleplay from the characters own
point of view. Third person please. Do NOT post until accepted!
(RESPECT)
Respect is something that we expect to have
around this site. Dust is a site for people to come together, roleplay,
get to know people .. and just have a good time. Disrespect is something
that we don't tolerate toward the admins, the site .. and, especially the
members. Don't think that you will be coming on here to cause trouble..
whether the reason being that you dislike someone already here, or
maybe you don't like the way things are ran around here .. it is then you
should just turn around and not think twice on joining. It won't be
tolerated and you will be banned without further discussion. That also
goes for drama .. just don't even bring it on here.
(GOD-MODING)
You don't know what god-moding is, you say?
God-moding : the act of controlling your character, but giving reactions
or movements of the character that you are RPing with. This will not,
I repeat, will NOT be happening on here. Control your character, and
your character only! Since we're on this topic I'll go ahead and bring
up those lovely charries that people seem make in regards of
making Mary Sues and Gary Stus and thinking that they truly exist
in the real world. No, there will be no [wesson] perfection on dust ..
no one is perfect, and flaws make people who they are, so scar
them up a little.
(GRAPHICS)
Graphics rule the world, and are basically awesome in every single way!
You must have both a signature and icon for your character so that we
can get a really nice look at how this person is appearance wise. I
shouldn't have to say this, but no pornographic, or nude material in
any graphics or pictures you post on this site!!! Also one of the things
that really can get me rolling is glittery and blinking, hot pink, tacky
stuff all over the place, so none of that please. Don't stretch the
boards with your images either, okay? 600x200 is the biggest that you
sig, and 100x100 for an avatar. Now, regarding face claims. The
staff will hold a face claim for up to a week, but no longer. There is no
discussing this as we can't hold a face claim for weeks if the person has
ditched. No two people can use the same celeb unless they are twins.
No exceptions. PS : No flickr kids or cartoons and whatnot. Actual people!
Oh, and the four fact rule applies ...
